We walked for hours. Every couple of minutes he would look at me weirdly then shake his head and look forward. It annoyed me. So when the next time he looked at me I snapped.

"What are you looking at?"I said

"Oh... umm... its just your eyes." He stammered.

My eyes? "Yeah there green I know. People always compliment them, but your just staring at them." I said.

He sighed. "Your eyes aren't green Hazel."

"Of course they are. You think I wouldn't know what my eye color was." I snapped again. Who does he think he is saying I don't know my what my eyes were.

"Your eyes changed." He said. "There now yellow and gray."

What? "What are you talking about?" I asked. I couldn't picture my eyes a different color.

He sighed again. "During the transformation from human to wolf your eyes turn yellow." Like that was normal.

"Oh." was all I could say. My beautiful green eyes not green anymore. I bit my lip, thinking. My left arm had the vampire marks so that probably meant my left eyes was gray. I wonder how gray? Maybe they were stormy cloudy gray. Or they could be light gray that some people with blue eyes got in the winter. I rubbed my yellow eye and dug through my duffel. I found a compact mirror and flicked it open.

I didn't recognize myself. My eyes were... well they were just as different as he said they were. My left eye was a stormy as the rain clouds and my yellow eye looked just like a wolves eye. I looked again at my new uniqueness. I missed my pale green eyes they had always been my best feature.

"I have to say Hazel, I like your eyes now better then the green." He said simply.

I smiled. But then I realized, he was complimenting me and I didn't even know his name. "This is awkward but, I don't know your name?" I said.

He laughed. "I was waiting for that question." He looked at me and said. "Dodge, My names Dodge."
