Chapter 20

I usually had control of my dreams. I always chose beautiful places, like an

island, or a dinner with whatever crush I had. But this dream started out

weird. I was sitting on a log, staring at a girl with stormy gray eyes. She was

about seventeen years old. Her blond hair was pulled into a tight bun. She

just looked at me, her gaze fierce. I tried to stand but a force held me back. I

fought at it but it was strong. I felt it press the tip of a blade in my back. I

screamed. The blade dud deeper until the hilt was left. The force let me go

and I fell on the ground. And as I closed my eyes, I felt my spirit leave my

body.

...

I sat up gasping. My head had a sheet of sweat, and my hands felt clammy.

My stomach cramped and I ran out of my cabin to the woods. I collapsed on

my hands and knees, puking. I groaned. Even with what food in my stomach

"Okay, can I come in?" He asked.

I reluctantly nodded. Why would he want to come in my cabin? He followed

me in and he sat down on my bed. I sat next to him and waited for him to

speak. I didn't wait long.

"We haven't found him yet. I mean sure its only been like six hours, but we

usually find people by now. Its like he just vanished. Poof, gone. We picked

up a trail west, but a mile into it, it disappeared. Ben is nervous, everyone is.

No one has any idea how he could of ran of so fast, or where he went. Its

scary." He rushed. His face turned red. "Sorry I'm babbling. Its just... we're

all nervous."

"I can tell. Its all my fault isn't it." I said burying my face in my hands.

"NO! It isn't. He's just been real upset. I mean sure he's always hated his

brother. And I don't mean brotherly hate, I mean full on rage between those
