I wrap my arms around myself and slowly open my eyes. The first thing I see is the black colored ceiling.

I furrow my eyebrows in confusion.

I use my arms to push off the bed and take notice of the room. My eyes slowly adjust from my previous grogginess as I rapidly blink against the morning's light.

I've never been inside Levi's room.

I skim my eyes around the bedroom, making sure to take everything in.

The room is completely barren. Besides for the bed and closet, there isn't much else inside here.

How odd.

Then again, is it? Levi is odd himself, always being quiet and secretive. I guess his room is no different then his personality. But, isn't one's room supposed to be a manifestation of who they are? So then the question seems to be, who is Levi?

I contemplate the thought and furrow my eyebrows.

"I don't want to think about this," I mutter irritably.

I exit the room and walk through the hallways, hoping to find Levi.

"Hey you!" I yell loudly, catching sight of a blonde headed servant.

He nervously turns around and bows toward me, "yes princess?"

"What time is it?" I ask, ignoring his apprehensive behavior.

His green eyes shakily move to glance at the watch on his hand.

"It's two in the afternoon," he answers.

"WHATTT!! I'm late for school." I watch his expression turn from nervous to amused, but ignore it.

I quickly find my room and change into a light green top with my only pair of jeans.

I run out of the room with my book bag on my shoulder and a toothbrush in hand. I brush my teeth as I make my way downstairs, watching the servants stare at me incredulously.

Haven't they ever seen anyone run late for school before?

I'm about to enter the kitchen when I hear my name being called.

I turn to find Levi chuckling at my current state.

"What?" I yell with toothpaste falling down my mouth.

He doesn't answer and motions for a servant to come forward. The servant bows and takes my bag and toothbrush from hand.

"We're late for school," I say after spitting toothpaste into a cup that the servant handed me. She bows her head and quickly leaves.

As soon as she's gone Levi begins to chuckle loudly.

"What? Levi, stop laughing," I say punching his arm lightly.

"I can't love," he says wrapping his arms around my waist and captivating my eyes with his dark ones.

"Love," I reiterate nervously. Did he sort of just say he loves me? Is this because of last night? All we did was sleep together, and I mean only sleep.

"Levi, I don't understand," I answer.

I watch his dark orbs stare into mine, as if searching for something.

"Tonight is the fall festival, it's the reason why we don't have classes today, everyone is busy preparing."

I nod in understanding, recalling the numerous servants tidying up the castle in my haste.

"That's not all love," he says rubbing the back of his hand against my check gingerly. "Tonight I tell you everything," he skims his eyes across my confused expression.

"Tell me what? Why can't you tell me now?" I mutter nervously.

"I can't," was his simple reply. There was no hint of apprehension in his tone but rather an excitement, a determination I haven't seen before.

"I don't understand." I shake my head, trying to understand his underlying meaning. "Wait! Is this about my mom?" I ask moving myself closer to him. "Did you find her? Is she ok?" I hurriedly ask.

He shakes his head and grasps my face with his hands.

"It's partly about your mother, but it's mostly about us." He bends to kiss the mark on my neck before standing upright to stare at my red cheeks.

"Levi I-"

"Tonight, I promise my love. After tonight no one will ever be able to keep us apart again."

"Keep us apart?" My expression displays worry as I find myself frowning. "Levi," I mutter softly. "We're together now." I interlace my hands with his and tighten my hold on it.

"No my love, not in the way that I want," he says sadly.

"Levi-"

"Tonight," he interrupts.

Before I can say anything else Diana comes beside me and ushers me toward the stairs.

"Diana, make sure she's prepared." His voice resounds loudly throughout the hallways as she escorts me upstairs.

"Prepared for what? Diana what's going on?" I ask nervously as she continues to guide me up the stairs.

"I'm not sure princess."

What the hell is going on? I ponder nervously.

What does tonight mean?

.............

Hey guys! I'm so sorry that I've been gone for so long. I've just been so incredibly busy with school lately. I know this chapter is short, but I just needed to get it out to you. By the way, I've learned a lot about writing lately, and practically rewrote my whole book. It's not perfect, but I want it to be good enough for me and also for you. Don't forget to vote and comment!

Thank You guys so much!

-Ariella
