I followed Joker to my room. We had already dropped my mother and Adrian off after Joker showed them their rooms. He was going to show me my room now. I quietly followed him down the hall, until he stopped at a door.
"This is your room, Angel." he announced. He unlocked the door, then gave the key to me.
"Thanks." I walked in, and he shut the door behind me as I walked in, and I looked around my new room.
The walls were a dark blue, with white spiraling designs all over the dark blue walls.
"Wow." I exclaimed in excitement.
The floor was carpeted, and the carpet colour was white, like the white spiral designs on the walls. There was a bed sitting in the corner of the room. The bed frame was white, with a white fluffy blanket sitting on it, and a feather pillow. This was a really wonderful bedroom.
There was a dresser sitting in the other corner of the room, and it was painted white and glazed.
I also noticed that there was a desk with a spinny office chair beside my bed. Well, I officially love this room! This is the best room ever!
I laid my suitcase on the floor, and kicked off my boots. I put my boots in the closet in the corner of the room, which beside the dresser. I unzipped my coat, and pulled Smokey out of the pocket, laying her on the bed to sleep. I took off my coat, and hung it up in the closet. I pulled off my hat, also hanging it up in the closet.
I then kneeled in front of my suitcase on the floor. I started to unpack my stuff, and I pulled out all of my clothes. I then put the clothes into the dresser. I then put my laptop and my phone on the desk, which was conveniently next to a wall outlet in the wall. I plugged in both my phone and my laptop's charger into the wall, and started charging my phone and my laptop so they both would be fully charged so I could use them later.
I unpacked the rest of my stuff, putting it in the right spot.
Suddenly, I heard a knock at the door.
"Come in." I called.
Adrian walked in, dressed in what looked like a suit, but without the tie and pockets. The pants were all black, and were almost skin tight, but were loose a bit so you could bend your knees. His shirt was a long, black sleeved shirt, which was also almost skin tight, but loose a bit, with a large v-neck for the collar. He had his middle-parted hair neatly brushed. I noticed he was also wearing these shoes that looked like vans, but looked soft. They were kind of like socks, but a little bit harder.
"What's with the outfit?" I asked.
"We're training, apparently. Joker wants us to meet in the circus tent to see what we're best at." he sighed. "Your outfit is in the closet, or it should be." he said, and left.
I groaned and closed the door. I walked over to the closet, and opened it once again.
Adrian was right, there was an outfit in here for me. I pulled it out to look at it.
My outfit was a white tanktop, with a frilly black skirt attached that went down about 5 inches below my thighs. Below the skirt was a pair of black spandex shorts, thankfully, so people wouldn't be seeing up my skirt.
I quickly brushed through my hair, then left my room. I closed the door and locked it, then exited the train. 'I forgot a coat,' I thought stupidly to myself. But luckily I was used to being outside in the snow without a coat, so I wasn't really that cold.
I ran over to the circus tent, and went inside. I saw Joker and Adrian talking. I saw Hope and Caine talking to each other while sitting on a bench, and I saw a girl who was wearing almost the exact same thing I was, except that her costume was completely white, and her long hair that went down to her shoulders was white.
A boy was sitting next to her. The boy looked like he wore something like Adrian's costume, but his long-sleeved top was loose and looked like a suit, and he had black loose pants on. He had a thick red belt tied around his waist, and the shirt was pulled up a bit so it loosely hung over the edge of the belt. He had ruffled, messy black hair and pale skin.
"Hey, Angel!" Joker called. I walked over to him.
"Hey." I smiled.
"Let's start." Joker grinned, clapping his hands together.
He led us over to the two people that I saw earlier.
"Angel, Adrian, this is Doll and Sawyer. They will be your 'mentors' until you're 100% sure that you can do it on your own." Joker introduced us.
"Hi." I waved to the girl named Doll with the white outfit like me.
"Hello." She replied with a smile. "So my name is Doll as you know. Follow me. We'll start you on the low practice rope."
While I followed her, Adrian followed Sawyer to the targets.
She set me up at a rope that was 3 feet off the ground. She gave me a black umbrella.
"It helps with balance." She stated.
I just simply nodded. I started walking across the rope with ease, not loosing my balance once.
"Okay, try again a few more times." she announced.
I started to walk across it again, and when I made it to the other side again, I turned around and walked across it a few more times with ease.
"Okay, let's move onto the high rope. Do you think you're ready for that?" she asked.
"Yeah." I nodded, grinning.
I followed her up to the large poles. We climbed up the ladder. This rope was around 40 feet off the ground. Once at the top, she tied a safety harness around my waist, in case I fell. I started to walk across it, holding the umbrella over my shoulder, the pole gently resting on my shoulder.
I made it to the other side successfully.
I turned around to notice she had followed me across, only without a harness.
"You're an expert." she smiled, and shook my hand. "You'll do wonderful."
"Thanks." I grinned at her. I slid down the ladder, and I was at the bottom in seconds.
"Good job!" I turned to see my mom walking up to us. She wore white pants, with a black top and her hair in a neat sock bun. "You look beautiful." she hugged me.
"Thanks." I grinned.
"I'll be in my room if anyone needs me." I called, walking back to my room.
