I smiled, staring out at the huge crowd. We were currently starting our big performance in Niagara Falls. Now that the heavy weight of Piper trying to kill me is off my shoulders, I can actually concentrate and enjoy the rest of our time in Niagara Falls. At the moment, I was sitting on top of the highest tightrope walk, waiting patiently for mine and Doll's turn. And let me tell you, waiting is the worst part. All I want to do is get up there, and make the crowd go wild. I've been waiting for this very day!
I looked over, and started to watch Raven and her father, Sebastian's act with magic. I wish I could use magic. Like, it would be freaking amazing! Using magic must be so fun, levitating people and items, and teleporting and all kinds of fun stuff like that. I continued to watch Raven's act. Raven was currently standing in a cage, with her hands cuffed behind her back and her feet cuffed together. She was performing an escapist act. I watched in great wonder as she shouted out some long string of words. "Azarath... METRION... ZINTHOS!" she shouted. The cuffs on her feet and legs opened, and the cage door swung open. She stepped out of the cage with a bow, and the crowd went wild. Sebastian patted her on the back in congratulations.
"Well, that was really something! Thank you Raven for your wonderful magic act!" Joker shouted into the microphone energetically. "And now here we have the famous Flying Griffons!" he cheered.
I watched as the spotlight shone on Caine and his family. I grinned. He smiled at me, and then him and his mother and father jump off the platform, swinging on the trapeze. I watched in amazement as they swung around, leaping, spinning, and twirling in the air. They honestly did look like amazing, flying birds in the sky. Each time one of them would fly through the air, the huge crowd would make 'ohh' and ''ahh' noises. It was really entertaining, how everyone said it in sync.
Next were the fire dancers, Blaze and Flame. They both stood in the middle of the circus tent, nothing but shorts on. They were barefoot, and they didn't have any shirts on, in case their shirt caught fire. I've seen one of them accidentally catch fire before. They had been practicing, when Blaze accidentally caught his pant leg on fire. I had to go grab a bucket full of water, which they kept there for emergency's like this, and splashed it on his pants to put out the fire. Yeah, it was really scary. I then watched as they both finished their act by using Dragon's breath, which is where they breathe fire somehow. I never got around to asking them how they did it. Probably by pouring gasoline in their mouth, and blowing the gasoline onto a match they hold.
Then, after the fire dancers, the knife throwers were up. My brother Adrian were the two knife throwers. But when Caine said what Doll and I had planned was crazy, he would take a look at these two and what they were doing. Sawyer, one of the knife throwers. He was tied to a giant red and white target, and Adrian was throwing knifes at him, never hitting Sawyer, not even once. I laughed at how crazy and stupid their act was. Well, even though I will admit, cartwheeling across a tiny rope is kinda crazy too.
Next up were the plate spinners. The plate spinners had long wooden poles that they spun plates on top. They were amazing, too. I don't think I would ever be able to be one of the plate spinners. It takes talent. Lots of talent. I continued to watch the rest of their act in stunned amazement. Heh, my plate would have shattered long ago. I can't believe they even manage to spin the plate that long, like, they've been at this for a total of two minutes! They were even moving and dancing around the tent while spinning the plate on the end of the long pole.
And then next, the jugglers were up. The jugglers were Lance and Hope. I once asked Hope why she wasn't on the trapeze with Caine and her parents, and she said that she was better in juggling, and that she didn't have the talent on the trapeze, believing that she would fall and hurt herself or something. But still, they were both amazing jugglers. Lance was shirtless and wearing black skin-tight, fire proof pants. He juggled torches, while much to my amazement, Hope juggled 10 tennis balls at the same time.
Then, it was mine and Doll's act. I stood up, and Doll did too, who was on the other platform. As if on que, both of us charged forward, and I did a round off onto the tightrope, then proceeded to cartwheel across the rope towards Doll who was cartwheeling towards me, the whole crowd gasping in amazement. When I was a few meters away from Doll, she crouched down, and I continued as to plan. When I was a meter away from her, I curved myself around, and did a back flip over her, and when we both continued to cartwheel to the platform. I looked at the crowd and smiled, waving to them as they cheered wildly.
"Well wasn't that something, don't you all think? I think it was amazing!" Joker cheered into the microphone excitedly.
The crowd roared in excitement, agreeing with Joker. Soon, everyone started to depart out of the circus, and I slid down the ladder, meeting Caine, Joker, my mother, and Adrian in the middle of the circus tent.
"That was amazing." I exclaimed.
"Yes, it was." Adrian smiled.
Joker turned towards me, smiling sadly.
"And now Angel, I think it's time for you to wake up and leave us." Joker smiled sadly at me.
"What do you mean?" I asked confused.
"Please wake up, Angel..." my mother begged.
I stared at the four of them confused. But then the world slowly goes dark, then I could see nothing but complete darkness.
And I woke up.
