I smiled, and raced down the stairs. Today was Christmas Day, and Santa had came last night to deliver presents! I was so excited about what I was going to get, and I stopped my huge train of thoughts to think about all of the possibilities of what I could get, and what would be inside the Christmas present boxes. I knew I would love whatever I got, for sure! I grinned as I jumped the last final steps to the floor, and I took off energetically running across the living room, and the sight that I saw was beautiful.

There were tons of Christmas presents around the tree, stacked in all the different colours of the rainbow! There were presents that were coloured red, green, yellow, pink, blue, black, white, all sorts of wonderful colours! The sight was truly amazing! I smiled, and quickly counted all of the presents, but eventually lost count. All I know is that there has to be at least more than 50 presents there under that tree. I heard Caine and Adrian running excitedly down the stairs, still in their pajamas. Well, I was in my pajamas too. I was wearing my long dark blue nightgown that reached my feet.

"Do you like it?" I heard a voice ask. Caine, Adrian and I all turned around to see my mother and father standing side by side, holding hands. "Caine and Angel, most of those presents are from the last three Christmas's that you had missed while in your coma. We decided that we would save the presents for when you woke up. The doctors kept telling us that it was unlikely that you two would ever wake up, especially after three years, but we had something none of the doctors did, and it was hope." My father explained, smiling.

"I love you both, you know that?" Caine and I said in unison, and we ran towards both our parents, and I hugged my father while Caine hugged my mother. I smiled, squeezing him tightly. "Thank you." I smiled, and grinned excitedly. "Now, lets go open those presents!" I cheered loudly, and I giggled a lot as Caine, Adrian and I all stumbled towards the Christmas tree. I grabbed the nearest box to me, which was coloured gray with white poka dots. I read the name tag, and it said to Adrian. "Hey Adrian, this is for you." I tossed it to him, while he tossed me a present. "And that is for you." he grinned. I caught my box, and he caught his, while all three of us proceeded to open our presents that we got.

The box that I got was all black with white stripes all over it. I energetically opened it, pulling off the ribbon and tearing at the wrapping paper. When it opened, I saw a small box. Inside the box, was a new phone. "A new phone!" I cried excitedly. I opened the box, and pulled out the phone. It had 10 GB's of storage on it, and it can go up to 6 hours without needing to charge. There was also a long charger cord that came with it.

Caine had gotten a brand new pair of black headphones, with a microphone attached to the front of it. He grinned happily.

I grinned excitedly. I turned to my mother and father, and gave them the biggest hug ever. "Thank you." I whispered.

They just smiled and hugged me back. "We're just glad your awake."
