So we had arrived in Hamilton four days ago, which means in three days, we perform. After this, we will be heading to Niagara Falls, wow! This is going to be exciting! I have always wanted to go to Niagara Falls, but we couldn't because it's too much money and takes a long time to get there. I heard that most of the cities that we didn't visit, they are all going to go visit Niagara Falls when we perform there, because face it, Niagara Falls is just absolutely beautiful! Especially at night, when all of the lights are on.
Also, my mother and Joker have gotten really close. I've often seen them sitting beside each other, giggling. I completely ship them together, I mean, it's like they were meant to be together! Besides, I think that my mother needs someone else to be with, but she refuses to date another man, in fear of having them killed too. But I think Joker is starting to like her, and she is really starting to like Joker. I think Joker would make a great dad. Like, he's sweet, kind, thoughtful, all of the wonderful things that any kid would want in a dad.
There has also been another robbery, 2 days after we arrived in Hamilton. Whoever is framing the circus, certainly really hates Joker or the circus. But why would anybody be trying to frame us in the first place? It is really stupid. I've been trying to think of a few people who were on my suspect list. I don't have that many people as suspects yet, but I'm going to keep watching out for him. I know it certainly isn't Caine, Adrian, Raven, Hope or anybody else that I'm really close with, but I think I'll follow the suspects that I have so far around to see what they're up to.
I picked up my phone from off the desk beside my bed. I unlocked it after putting in my pass code, and clicked to the home screen of my phone. I tapped on the notes icon, and waited as it loaded. I tapped on the note that I had labeled 'Lyrics.' I scrolled down past all of the random song lyrics that I had put in it, and stopped when I reached the bottom. At the bottom, it read all of my suspects that I think would be the person trying to frame us.
I had a few suspects so far. I had Blaze and Flame, who were brothers, and they weren't exactly the kindest people you could meet. They were really rude all the time to me and some other people. They put up Joker and other people who were respected bossing them around, but just barely. Another person was Piper. Piper acted friendly often, but I've seen how bossy he can get. He also sometimes gets into arguments, and sometimes he would disappear, and nobody would be able to find him. Most of the times that he disappeared would be when the robbery happens in each town. But let's just face it, he's practically gone all the time. I only see him a couple times each week.
I decided that I should go and investigate, and check out each one of my suspects. I decided that I should start with Piper, since he is the most likely suspect that I have right now. I got up off my bed, and walked towards the door. I opened it, and stepped out. I shut the door, and then I locked it behind me. I then proceeded to cross across trains, until I saw someone.
The person I noticed first was Lance. He was a funny guy. He was 13 years old like me, and I sometimes hung out with him. Lance had blonde hair that went down to his ears. He often wore his favourite black hoodie, and liked to pretend and talk about wars. He was so interested in wars, you wouldn't believe it. He practically had almost all of the soldiers in the war memorized by name. It was just truly amazing about how much he knew. He would also sometimes even tell me stories that he has read from World War 1, 2, and 3. Right now he was sitting in the dining room car in one of the booths. I walked up to him, and sat down across from him. He looked up at me as I sat down, and he smiled at me. "Well, hello Angel. What's up?" he asked.
"Oh nothing much. How are you? What are you doing?" I asked, looking at the book in his hands.
"I'm good. I'm just chillin here, reading this week about war. You should already know that. Anything that I do usually involves war or battles of some sort." he chuckled, and put his bookmark into his book, then laid the book down on the table. "What about you?" he asked.
"Have you seen Piper?" I asked him.
"Um, as I recall, I last saw Piper heading towards his room right before you walked in." he said.
"Okay, thanks. I needed to ask him a question." I explained, standing up.
"Okay, see you later Angel." Lance smiled.
"Okay. Bye." I smiled and waved to him before running out of the dining room car. I quickly hopped through cars, and slowed down when I saw Piper in the next car. I waited until he crossed to the next car, then I continued to follow him. While I stood in one car, I watched him stop in front of his bedroom door, unlock it, and walk inside. As he shut his bedroom door, I stepped into the car that had his bedroom on it. I heard the familiar click from his door as he locked the door.
I waited about 5 minutes outside his door, then finally knocked on the door. There was no answer. I frowned, and knocked again. Still no answer. I was confused. I saw him go into the room, so why wasn't he answering the door? Maybe he was sleeping?
I pulled a bobby pin out of my hair. I always keep bobby pins in my hair just for these occasions, like when I have to crack open a door for some stupid reason.
I get the door open, and slowly push the door open quietly. I examine the room. Completely empty. That's strange. I saw him come in here, though!
I looked up. I noticed the window was open. I went over to it, and peeked out of the open window. I saw the image of Piper running away from the train and across the grass, heading down the road to the mall.
Well, looks like I'm going to be chasing down Piper tonight.
