I blinked my eyes open, and looked around extremely confused. Where was I? The walls of the room were white, along with the floor and the ceiling. I sat up, propping myself up with my arm as I examined the room. I appeared to be laying on a hospital bed. So I was in a hospital. I looked around.

I glanced up to watch as a nurse walked into the room, staring at her clipboard. She looked up at me. Her eyes widened in shock as she stared at me.

"What?" I asked her.

"Y-You're awake!" she stuttered, running out of the room quickly, looking like she's just seen a ghost. I frowned, confused. Didn't Joker say something about me waking up before I passed out?

She ran back into the room with a doctor, my mother and Adrian following hastily.

"You're awake!" Adrian shouted in glee, flinging his arms around me and hugging me tight.

"What's happening?" I asked. "Why am I here?" I asked.

"You've been in a coma for 3 years." the doctor told me.

"What?! No! Just yesterday I was standing and talking to my friends!" I argued.

"It must have been a dream, then." the doctor stated.

"And Angel, you told me that you didn't have any friends at school." my mother questioned.

"But I'm home schooled!" I crossed my arms, upset and very confused. "You, me and Adrian were all apart of a circus!" I said. "Don't you remember?!"

Suddenly, another man walked into the room. I looked up, and it was Joker.

"Hey, I heard she woke up." Joker said while walking over to my mother and wrapping his arms around her.

I grinned widely at Joker. "Hey, Joker! Tell them that we were all in the circus! They refuse to believe me! Like, we just performed in Niagara Falls yesterday!" I grinned.

Joker just stared at me confused. "Did you tell her about me already...?" he asked my mother, glancing at her.

"No." she shook her head, frowning.

Joker looked at me. "Well, my name is Collin Joker. Joker is my last name, and the only people who call me Joker are the people in the circus, and I haven't seen them for a couple months, when we last performed in Niagara Falls. But you weren't there, Angel. You were still in your coma." Joker stated, just as confused as I was.

"I've came to a conclusion." the doctor announced, looking up from writing on his clipboard. "I predict that Angel has had a very long dream for the past three years while she was in the coma. Her mind created a new life for her inside her head, based on what everyone has told her while she was in the coma, therefore the last three years of her life, were a dream." the doctor announced.

"A dream..." I murmured weakly. "It was all a dream?" I questioned. All the fun, the love, is all gone now. I was never in a relationship with Caine at all.

"Doctor, there's a 13 year old boy in room 204. He just woke up from his coma which lasted three years also." a nurse said as she burst into the room, panting.

Joker's head seemed to perk up, and the doctor rushed out of the room. "Is his name Caine?" I asked. Joker nodded. I jumped off my bed, but my legs crumpled below me because I haven't used them in three years. "I need to see that boy." I gasped.

My mother and Joker seemed confused, but my mother got me a wheelchair anyway, and Adrian helped me into it.

"Dang Angel, you're extremely light." Adrian commented. I just simply shrugged, and wheeled out of the room, stopping at room 204. I pushed the door open, and entered. I saw Caine sitting up in bed, looking confused. Then his eyes landed on me.

"Angel...?" he questioned. "Where am I? Why am I here? Why on earth are you in a wheelchair!?" he began to throw questions at me, but I was stunned. He remembered me? Were we sharing the same dream?

"Y-you remember me?" I asked. My mother and Joker were equally confused.

"Yeah...? I saw you just yesterday!" Caine raised his eyebrow. "Is this a prank?" he asked.

"What? No!" I exclaimed. I rolled my wheelchair over to him.

I explained everything to him, even the part about us possibly sharing the same dream.

"So the last three years of our lives, were a dream?" he asked.

"Yeah." I nodded sadly. "But, at least we remember each other! I wouldn't know what to do if you didn't remember me." I sulked.

"I wouldn't either." Caine agreed, then looked at Joker. "If it were a dream, then why did those two just kiss?"

"Caine, this woman is my soon to be wife. We got together after you two slipped into comas three years ago." Joker said. "I helped her out of her depression about Angel being in a coma."

"Oh." he nodded.

"Caine, Angel, you two can be discharged from the hospital." a nurse announced, walking into the room.

"Okay! Are my parents coming to get me?" I asked.

Joker, my mother, and the nurse all shared a sad look.

"What?" Caine asked.

"Caine... Your parents passed away a year ago." Joker said. "With no one left to pay the hospital to keep you alive on life support, I offered to pay for your life support until you woke up. I also helped out with Angel's life support bills." he said.

"So you're going to an orphanage." the nurse replied calmly.

"What?! No!" Caine gasped.

"I'm sorry." she sighed.

"W-What?! No! He can't go! I'll never see him again!" I wailed.

Joker leaned towards my mother and whispered something in her ear. And she nodded, and both their faces brightened up.

"Caine, guess what?" Joker asked.

"I'm going to an orphanage?" he guessed sadly.

"Actually, no you aren't because I am going to adopt you with Angel's mother. Welcome to the family." Joker grinned.

"Really? Yes!" Caine and I shouted happily.
