I woke up. Yawning, I stretched, and sat up in my bed from under my dark, blue, fuzzy bed sheet covers. Smokey, who was laying at the end of my bed, noticed I was awake from the shifting of the bed. She lifted her head up and stood up. She arched her back as she yawned, and started walking over to me. When Smokey reached me, I stretched out my hand to stroke and pet her head, still trying to wake up from sleeping.
I looked out of the window. I could see the circus tent, standing tall it's glory. It was the day after we had all used all of our effort to set the circus tent up, and now, finally, we had set it up. It was very difficult. The hardest part would be setting up the circus tent in the first place. And then we still have to do this when we go to Stratford, and then Niagara Falls. Man, this was going to be an extremely long year.
When the train reaches a city that we will perform in, we stay for a week, then leave. On the first day we arrive in the city, we immediately begin to set up. Once the circus tent and everything else is set up, we can spend the rest of our time doing whatever, like practicing and relaxing.
I looked down at Smokey, who was meowing, and who was more than likely hungry. I looked to the other side of the room to see her food bowl empty, and her water bowl half empty. I sighed, and laughed.
"You silly cat. Learn to feed yourself." I chuckled, rubbing and scratching her head. She meowed in response, butt heading my arm. "Okay, okay. I'm up. I'll get your food." I giggled.
I pushed the covers off of me, and swung my legs to the side of the bed so they were hanging off the side of the bed. I paused for a moment to yawn once again, and stretch my arms. I stood up, and walked over to Smokey's food bowl. I picked it up, and carried it over to my big dresser where I kept the cat food.
I pulled open the bottom drawer, and pulled out the cat food bag. I poured the rest of what was left into her bowl. I then put her bowl back in it's spot after throwing the empty cat food bag into the garbage and shutting the drawer. Smokey immediately began to eat the food that I put out for her.
I stood up, and decided to get changed. I stripped off my pajamas and threw them in a laundry basket, which I will take to the laundry mat to clean sometime later on. I pulled out a pair of blue jeans from the dresser, and then I pulled out a plain black tank top. I pulled the jeans on, and then I pulled the black tank top on.
I then grabbed a hoodie from the dresser, too. I pulled it on. It was a black over sized hoodie that read in bold white letters 'I can't be tamed.' Yup, Miley Cyrus for the win! She is one of my favourite singers. Sure, she may sing inappropriate songs like Wrecking ball, but hey, all of the songs are amazing. I just make sure to stay away from music videos.
There was a knock at my door.
"Come in!" I called to the person at my door. The door opened, and in walked Hope and Raven.
"Hey, we were planning to go roam around the city, and you know, go shopping and all that. Wanna come with us?" Raven asked.
"Sure!" I replied, and grabbed an empty backpack from the corner of my room. "We can carry our stuff around in this." I offered.
"Okay. Perfect." Hope smiled. She pulled out two rolls of cash from her backpack and dropping it into the backpack. I put 30 dollars in, and Raven dropped in 30 dollars also.
"Lets go shopping." I grinned.
I slung the backpack over my shoulder, and we walked out of my room. I locked my door behind me, and then we hopped off the train.
"Where to first?" Raven asked.
"The mall." Hope, Raven and I all said in unison. We all giggled.
"Guess we're going to the mall, then!" I laughed. We took off running through the snow. Once we reached the road, we paused on the sidewalk.
"Um... Where is the mall exactly...?" Hope asked, uncertain.
"Well, lets see." I chuckled, and pulled out my phone and went onto the google maps act.
"It's all the way across town. It says from where we are now to the mall, it would take 30 minutes to walk there." I announced.
"Lets get a cab. I don't feel like walking." Hope announced. We all laughed.
"Agreed." Raven and I said in unison.
I pulled up the phone app on my phone, and typed in the number to call a taxi. I put the phone to my ear. "Hello?" the other end asked.
"Hello. I'd like a cab to pick up three people on Hudson street in front of the circus." I stated.
"Okay. We'll be there in 5 minutes." the man said.
"Thank you." I said, then hung up.
"They'll be here in 5 minutes." I said.
"Okay." Raven and Hope replied.
We talked until a small yellow taxi pulled up beside us. Raven opened the back door, and we all crawled in the back seat.
"Where to, ladies?" he asked, turning to look at us.
"To the mall, please." Raven answered.
"Okay." he nodded, and started driving.
We were in the cab for about 5 minutes, when he pulled up to the mall.
"Thanks." I said, and handed him 5 dollars.
"You're welcome." he smiled. We got out of the taxi, and I shut the door. The taxi man then drove away, probably going to pick up other people.
"Let's start shopping, girls!" I giggled, and we all took off, racing into the mall.
