"Thank you so much for coming with me. And for letting me drive. I need to practice." Riley smiles, her eyes not leaving the road as we speed down the highway.

"No problem. You're actually a good driver though, I don't see why you still need practice." I point out and Riley chuckles.

"I get that a lot. But I need a lot of time on the roads, it's just how it has to work out," She reminds me and I shrug. "A movie. My book is going to be made into a movie." Riley says, her smile wider than I'd ever seen it before.

"It's really amazing. I'm honored that you'd let me come with you. We get off on this exit," I say, pointing to the exit a couple hundred feet away. Riley turns on the blinker and pulls off the exit, as we enter Hollywood.

"This city is beautiful. Have you ever been here Michelle?" Riley asks and I shake my head.

"No, I haven't, but I've always wanted to," I admit. "Have you?" I ask and Riley nods her head.

"I grew up here," Riley turns the corner, and a long row of designer shops line up on the street. "I know this city like the back of my hand. I'll show you around, if you want." Riley suggests and I nod my head.

"That sounds great!" Palm trees are everywhere, and expensive cars zoom past us on the street. "Hollywood really is exactly how they make it seem." I mumble and Riley laughs.

"Yeah. It is. My parents first met shooting a movie over there," Riley says, lifting her right hand to point to a tall, church building on the left. "The Best Man." Riley says and my eyes widen.

"Those were your parents? They're amazing actors!" I exclaim and Riley nods her head.

"They are. They acted like they loved me for years." Riley says, forcing a smile. She pulls into a large, glamorous hotel, and parks the car. She tosses the keys to the valet, and pulls the bags out of the car, and we walk into the hotel.

The ceiling is high, the floors made of marble, and granite pillars are placed tastefully around the room. Expensive lounge chairs are in the interior of the air conditioned lobby, and Riley runs over to hug the manager.

"Clara! It's been forever!" Riley smiles, as she hugs her.

"It has been! Where were you girl?" Clara asks and Riley grins.

"Boarding school. I'm paying myself."

"Oh yeah! I read your book, it's amazing! I always knew you'd go far." Clara smiles, and hands Riley her room key.

"You flatter me. I'll be in town a few days, we should catch up!" Riley smiles, waving goodbye to Clara as she rolls her bag over to the elevator. "I used to come here and hide out when I got in a fight with my parents." Riley explains in the elevator.

"And how often was that?" I ask, and Riley chuckles.

"More often than I'd like to admit." Riley replies, and we silently ride up the glass elevator, taking in our surroundings. The doors open up again, and Riley beelines for room 1373. She runs the keycard through the slot, before handing it to me. "I have another. Make yourself at home." Riley smiles as she sets down her bag.

The room was huge. A 32" flat screen was on the wall, and a desk was placed on one end. A small kitchen with a full sized fridge, mini bar, sink and freezer, as well as a bunch of cabinets was by the door, and there were two chairs hanging from the ceiling. A large balcony had two chairs and a small table, overlooking a perfect view of the city, the beach right beside the hotel.

But my favorite part of the room? The bed. Not beds, no this is singular. In the room, there is one, queen sized bed, for two people. Me, and Riley.

OMFG THEY ARE SHARING A BED. That is adorbs. One more part, I can do this, no matter how late it is. Besides, it's not like I have anything better to do. The song for this chapter is 'Drove All Night' by Celine Dion. Doesn't really apply too much, I don't know many songs that would, but I like the song. So, good enough.
