Hiccup's POV Weeks Later

It's been a few weeks since Max disappeared. Jack and I have been searching the world. It's been a silent flight almost everytime we head out. We made two base camps, one on Berk and the other on Dragon's Edge.

"When that boy, Murphy came to your house what you mean when you said he was supposed to be somewhere else?" I asked sliding a plate across the table.

Jack took a bite, "Training. Everyone goes through a certain training set as a rite of passage in a way. That's where he was supposed to be."

I nodded, "I want to head to Max's island."

"About that...I've been thinking...if Max doesn't want to be found...then maybe we should stop looking..." Jack murmured.

I slammed my fist down, "Are you crazy?! Max is out there alone facing a group that wiped out my entire village!!!!"

"She faced them before! And I know Max she can do this!" Jack insisted.

I glared at Jack and went outside to feed Toothless.

Max's POV

"Shadow it's been weeks and no sign of the Bewilderbeast! We go to my grandmother's island everyday!" I complained sitting on the balcony.

We need to keep searching if you want to know more about your abilities and if you want help to take down Anarchy.

"I know. Let's just relax for the day. Everyone needs a day off." I sat back in the chair.

Can't argue with that all this flying is exhausting.

I closed my eyes and soon fell asleep soaking in the sun.

Hours Later

I opened my eyes.

I could sense something.

Something was coming.

Fast.

I tapped Shadow with my foot, "Wake up. Something's coming."

Shadow raised his head and sniffed the air, you're right. Dragon...and rider...

I grabbed my staff and headed inside, "Let's go." I snatched up a basket and ran outside where his saddle was drying. I strapped on the saddle and tied the basket, "Let's head to the cliff where we can see the house."

I jumped on Shadow and he took off to the south side of the island by the cliffs. I watched with my spy glass as the dot came closer to the island.

As I came closer I realized who it was, "That's my dad..."

We have to get out of here.

"Wait...let's see what he wants." I said.

He's looking for you Max. We have to go.

"Wait!" I snapped. I continued to look through the spy glass as my father and Toothless approached my house. "Where's Jack?"

Before Shadow could say something I heard wolves howl in the distant.

I groaned, "Not them again. I thought we agreed on peace."

They sense an intruder.

I climbed on Shadow and he headed towards the wolves as they were gaining in on my father.

Shadow landed in front of the wolves and the sudden noise made my dad turn around.

"Max?!" He asked his voice rising in excitement.

I didn't say anything keeping my eyes on the wolves. I unsheathed my staff. Living here I've developed the ability to talk to wolves, since I had to make peace with them.

"Leave him alone!" I growled. "I don't want to hurt you!"

We cannot do that! For years we have lived in peace with you, tolerated when you had dragons here...then he comes and trespasses. We will protect you from him!

"No that's my father!!!" I insisted.

The lead wolf, black with piercing blue eyes come from the pack, Bare with us. We will dispose of them.

More wolves came from the bushes and surrounded my father and Toothless.

Attack!!!
