"So...,"Lina drawls as she braids Summer's hair,"Did you get any dirt on Eric?"

"Absolutely nothing,"Kailah replies disappointedly,"What about you Rose?"

"Nope," She reponds popping the p.

"I haven't found anything about Eric,"Summer says handing Lina a rubber band," Paris you are usually good at this kind of stuff, did you get anything?"

"Absolutely nothing!"I groan. Lina, Summer, Kailah, Rose, and I were sleeping over at Rose's house. We have been hanging out more and more ever since that night at the diner.

"Who do you love the most!" Keeley exclaims barging through the door unannounced.

"What are you doing here?" Rose asks," My parents will not be happy with me if you are here."

"I know I know, because I'm gay and this is a sleepover, but I just got dirt on Eric!"

We all leap up out of our sitting positions and exclaim," What!"

"Well I was hanging out in the hallway and I heard Terra talking to someone on the phone," Keeley explain," Knowing my sneaky nature I eavesdrop on her conversation. I think she was talking to Eric about prom. All I heard was Terra saying that,"Everything was in place for the dance," and she also mentioned how much of a close call it was when you, Paris was our shopping with them for the prom and saw Eric with another girl."

"You don't think that Terra is behind this also. Do you?" Summer asks.

"Well if Terra is behind this doesn't that mean Stella and Brittany are also?" Lina implies.

"Paris?" Kailah says," You haven't said anything."

"I-I don't know...I trusted them." Rose rubs my back in circular motions," Should I have trusted them?"

"Well we don't know for sure if all three of them were in on it, maybe it was just Terra," Summer tells me.

"Of course they are in it together, Summer, they are like "The Plastics!" I exclaim.

"That's who they remind me of!" Lina says snapping her fingers.

"You didn't know that?" Keeley questions her.

"I am not very smart."

"Brittany is Regina George, Terra Gretchen Weiners, and Stella is Karen Smith," Summer tells us confidently.

"Hm...interesting,"Lina replies running her fingers through Kailah's hair, which she was planing to French braid.

"I wonder what Terra is planning at prom," Keeley wonders aloud,"It isn't like we could go to prom an figure it out."

An idea pops into my head," What is the theme of the prom this year?"

"I don't know," Summer shrugs.

"I believe it is a Masquerade dance," Kailah informs us.

"Oh how fun!" Rose exclaims clapping her hands together. She loves anything Masquerade. Like Mardi Gras or the Phantom of the Opera.

"That is almost too perfect," I reply smirking.

"Wh-oh I know what you are thinking and it is a bad idea," Lina scolds.

"What is the idea?" Keeley asks.

"Well since it is Masquerade, then no one will know who we are so......" I pause adding dramatic effect," We can sneak into the dance."

"And how are you planning to pull that off?" Rose asks.

"I don't know, but we can figure that out later," I tell them.
