My heels clicked across the cement. Summer, Lina, and Kailah all trailed behind me.
"This is going to be the best year of our lives!" I exclaim to them.
"Paris, you always say that!" Summer says.
"I know... but isn't the last year always the best? Take 8th grade for example."
"Very true," Summer agrees. From across the quad I spotted all of my guy friends, one of them being my boyfriend, Kobe.
"Hey guys!" I announce throwing my hands in the air and walking towards them. I hug and kiss Kobe.
"I can't believe we are already seniors," Jack says," It wasn't long ago that we were running around like little freshmen."
"Yep...freshmen year was fun," I say sarcastically.
"What happened freshmen year?" Kobe asks.
"Oh...nothing...just normal drama stuff," I lie. Kobe shrugs. We interrupted by Toby who came running towards us.
"Hey Toby!" We greet.
"G-guys,"Toby says out of breath.
"What is it!" I exclaim impatiently.
"There is a new student," Toby finally says regaining his breath.
"So, we always have new students," Blake says. Toby shakes his head in urgency.
"Sh-"
"I'm back!" Toby was interrupted by a ginger with the smile of a devil. Her hair was in little curls and her grey eyes stared into my eyes.
My eyes widen and I gasp," Jackie!"
