I Want to Forget

Chapter 28

The skies were clear, not a cloud in sight.  It seemed like perfect weather for a perfect day.  However I knew that hours from now the sky will be filled with dark, ominous clouds.  Kind of like how it will be for me tonight. Happy and fun today at school, but dangerous and frightening tonight at school. I still couldn't stop thinking about that dream.  Is Toby actually going to die?  It seemed so....surreal. I tried to get it out of my mind. Dreams don't always come true....trust me, I know. Everyone at school was relaxed and happy to see me.

"Are you excited for tonight,"Summer says as she walks up to me.

Lina hits her on the arm,"Shhh don't say it out loud!"

"It's not like I said what we were doing tonight."

"Just don't say anything, pretend nothing is happening tonight,"Kailah pitches in. Summer rolls her eyes. I started to drown out the sound of my friends' constant chattering about tonight. I seriously didn't want anyone to speak of tonight. The last thing I want is something bad happening, like Toby dying. Honestly I have no idea what the plan is for tonight. I have come up with nothing and neither have any of my friends. We seriously don't even have dresses! Maybe I can convince my friends that we don't have to go tonight. Who cares about what happens to the other people. As long as Toby is safe I am fine....

"Hey guys," I speak up. My friends stop talking about who knows what and look at me. "I think we should cancel our plans for tonight.."

"Paris....why would we do that?" Lina asks.

"It could be dangerous."

"That's why we have to go, because it is dangerous," Lina starts to whisper," We are the only ones who know about Eric and his plan. We are the only ones who can save all these people."

"We don't know what Eric is planning. We don't even have a plan!"

"I know that....we also need help," Lina says," So that is why I asked some of the guys for help."

"What!" Summer, Kailah, and I exclaim.

"Look we don't know what to do and we might need a guys point of view. We can all put our heads together and think this through and come up with a plan."

"Are you sure it is a good thing we told them?" Kailah asks.

"What is the worse thing that can happen?" Lina implies. Toby dying....that is pretty bad..

"So what do you guys think we should do?" Summer asks the guys. Summer, Lina, Kailah, Keeley, Rose, Toby, John, Bryce, Blake, Jake, Jack, Carson, and I we all sitting in the library discussing tonight. Lina really did educate this goons on what has been going on.

"Well I since we aren't really sure what Eric is planning, then we just have to get inside the dance," Bryce says," After that we can just keep an eye on everything."

"I think we should bring Jackie in on this," Jake suggests. We all stare at Jake. No one except Toby has talked to Jackie since Judith's death.

"Why would we do that?" Rose asks

"Well she knows Eric the best out of all of us."

"No we can't let her in," I step in," She is manipulative and she was playing Eric to get her dirty work done. She can't be trusted."

"Hey!"Toby scolds," She is still my girlfriend. Jackie is a good person. I think we should let her in on this." I glare at Toby. I don't think he knows what he did to me. "Let me call her over here." Toby leaves the library and calls Jackie up. Minutes later Toby and his ginger girlfriend walk inside.
