I Want to Forget

Chapter 19

My mom drops me off at the entrance of Freedom High.  I walk into the campus, thinking everything was normal, except it wasn't.  I notice all my friends, even the jock boys, on the lawn talking.  I smile and slowly run over to them, but as I got closer their talking became louder. They weren't talking, they were yelling.  I stop in my tracks.  What was going on?  Everyone was yelling to different people.

"Why would you say that about me!" Summer yells to Toby.

"Because it is true!  And Lina why would you tell her!" Toby yells to Lina.

"Because it is rude!  Why would you tell Bryce that story about me!"  Lina yells to Toby.

"Because you told Jackie!"

"For the last time I did not!!"

"Yes you did!" Jackie defends herself.

Standing a few feet from the the yelling group was Kailah and Jake. She was crying and he look like he was struggling to explain something to her.

"I didn't even say it!" Jake tried to explain.

"Yes you did! And it is true!" Kailah exclaims bursting out in tears.

"I did not call you fat and ugly!"

"Yes you did! Don't even try to deny it! You even said it last year!" Kailah continues to cry. Jake just groans and stops trying. I look to my side and see John standing with me.

"What is going on?" He asks. I guess he just got here.

"I have no idea," I say slowly.

"Have you been listening?"

"Yeah."

"Can you explain what each fight is about?"

"Sure. Well Lina is mad at Toby because he told Bryce an embrassing story about her, because Lina told Jackie an embrassing story about him. Lina told Jackie because Toby said Summer could never date any of her crushes, and that is why Summer is mad at him.," I explain," And Kailah is upset because apparently Jake called her fat and ugly."

"That is very confusing. Why are there a bunch of fights breaking out?"

"I don't know but....." I stop.

"What?" John ask snapping his head in my direction.

I shake my head," Nothing." I look to the rest of my friends who were....glaring at me. What did I do?

"What?" John asks.

"Um did I do something to those four," I ask pointing at Jack, Blake, Bryce, and Carson.

John shurgs," I don't know." I leave John and walk to the four boys glaring at me.

"Did I do something?" I ask confused.

"You know what you did...." Bryce glares.

"Actually I don't, can you please tell me."

"You screwed us all over!" Carson yells.

"Yeah what the hell, Paris!" Blake exclaims.

"Tell me what I did...please."

"Ok fine," Jack gives in," So you know how we four had that basketball game we were excited to go to?"

"No."

"Yeah wel-" Jack stops," You didn't know?"

"You never told me about your super important basketball game."

"Are you lying to us?" Blake asks.

"Why would I lie?" The boys face's calm.

"So....," Carson drawls," You didn't pop the tire's on the car."
