Chapter 13.2

Friday, 8 o'clock in the evening.

Alexandros was already tipsy when he left his friends from Alwen's bar. He reasoned out that he really couldn't drive when he was drunk. At kahit ano'ng kantiyaw at pilit ng mga kaibigan nyang kapwa pulis ay hindi talaga siya nagpapigil. Bukas na kasi nang gabi nila isasagawa ang pagdakip kay SLR. If Sheena did not broke him up five years ago, perhaps they had already started their family. Mahal na mahal nya ito at alam niyang ganoon din ito sa kanya. But she couldn't wait for him to marry her. Nagmamadali ito ng mga panahong iyon na makasal sila agad. But he was just starting his carreer as a police officer that time. He loved her but his feelings during those days may not be enough to choose her over his career as a police officer. He asked if she could wait for few years more but she threatened him by saying that if he would not marry her soon, she would break him up. At pinanindigan naman nito ang banta na iyon sa kanya. At kahit na ano'ng suyo niya ay ayaw nang makipagbalikan sa kanya dahil na rin siguro sa pride. After few months, he heard that she married an American boyfriend whom she met on a dating site.

Para siyang pinagsakluban ng langit at lupa noon dahil si Sheena lang ang nag-iisang babae na sineryoso niya. And he hadn't any serious relationship after her. He then promised to himself that if he would love again, he would try his best not to lose that woman.

And now, he felt that he was in love again. He believed that he found the next woman that he would love more than what he did to Sheena. But it seemed that he lost her already. Hindi pa man ay tila nawala na agad sa kanya.

A harsh sigh escaped from his mouth. Kung hindi lang siya nakatali sa misyong arestuhin si SLR, malamang sinimulan na niya agad ang paghahanap kay Cassandra. He must admit, he was longing to see her again, and if he would be lucky enough, to take her again. There was something in this woman that he couldn't resist. She had ignited a passion in his every vein, set a raging fire inside him and thawed all the coldest parts of him.
