We called it quits and joined Dean on the couch where we hung out for a while. There was never much to do so it was always research or hanging out and watching tv.

"Hey. How'd you do, Hannah?" Dean asked.

"I did ok." She replied sadly. Dean looked at me confused.

"Her parents didn't teach her much. She's pretty much on track for reading, but she's about a grade behind on math. She's really getting the hang of it though. She's really doing great." I replied, hoping Hannah would perk up a little. We spent the rest of the day just hanging out until we went to bed.

"Time for bed, Hannah." Dean stated. She was going to protest, but she let out a yawn and nodded.

"I've got her Dean. I can tell you're exhausted. Go on to bed." He looked so tired, like he hadn't been sleeping at all. Dean nodded and left the room. I put Hannah to bed. "Hey kiddo, let me tell you something. I'm not putting any pressure on you with this school stuff. Yes, I want you to be really good at school stuff, but if you're not, then we will work on it. Ok? You will never disappoint me by not understanding something." I told her. She needed to know that I wasn't gonna be mad at her.

"Ok. I believe you. Thanks for teaching me today." She replied.

"Of course, kiddo. Now, get some sleep and I'll see you in the morning."

"Um, while you're here, why is Dean so tired?" She asked cautiously.

"I don't know. That's not like him. If he's still up, I'll ask him. Don't worry though." I answered.

"Ok. Goodnight Sammy. I love you." She said with a smile on her face.

"Goodnight. Love you too." I replied as I walked out the door. I went to the main room thinking if he was up, he would be at a table in there. He was. "Dean, what are you doing up? You're exhausted." He looked bad. His hair was a mess, he was drinking again, he overall just looked like he was exhausted and felt bad.

"Don't worry about it. I'm fine." He retorted. I knew he wasn't fine.

"I don't care if you want to talk about it or not. We are going to. What is up? You've been acting weird the past couple days. You look like a mess and you're drinking a lot again." I retorted back.

"Look, I said don't worry about it. It's just some hunting stuff. I'm being paranoid ok? It's nothing." He stated, but I could tell he had a feeling he wasn't being paranoid.

"What are you being paranoid about?" I asked.

"I think the yellow eyed demon Azazel is close. I think I found him in town. It's crazy though. He's been gone for years and now he suddenly turns up? I just don't think it can be true." He replied in answer to my question.

"Dean, if there's even the slightest chance he is in town, we have to stop him before he does what he did to Jess to someone else." I added. We needed to kill this thing.

"Sam, I want to kill this thing as much as you do, but it's a huge risk to go after him. Especially with Hannah."

"Well it's a risk we have to take, Dean. We need to kill this thing. It needs to pay for Jess." I replied. I needed revenge.

"I get how you feel about him and why you want revenge, but it's too dangerous for us and for Hannah. It's not worth dying or getting her killed." He argued.

"Dean, you don't get how I feel at all. He took away the one person I loved. You can't possibly get that. You've never had that one person you couldn't live without taken away from you. So don't lecture me about revenge. We need to kill this thing and I'm going with or without you."

"Excuse you! I know as much about revenge as you do. Did you forget that mom was taken from us by this demon. I loved mom. I didn't know how to go on after that, but dad forced me to. I've lost you, I don't know how many times, and you think I don't know what it's like to lose someone I love? Why do you think I haven't told you until now? I knew you'd want to go after this thing even though we don't know if it's even here." Dean argued back. He was right. He knew better than anyone what this felt like.

"Ok. Ok. You're right. I'm sorry. I just want to make it right again. I can't get Jess back, but we can get revenge. If you don't think it's a good idea, then we won't go, but I think the two of us can take him. I say let's assume it's him and go after him." I replied as I calmed down.

"What about Hannah then? We can't let her get hurt, and although it was an idea last time, we can't leave her home alone." He questioned.

"I don't know. We have to bring her along. Umm, She's pretty small. If she's ok with it, would it work for her to hide in the backseat? Unless you went looking in the car for her, you probably wouldn't see her." I suggested.

"Maybe. We'll talk to Hannah tomorrow morning." I nodded and started to head to bed.

"Dean," he turned his head towards me. "I'm sorry. I wasn't trying to act like mom dying shouldn't have affected you. That's not what I meant." I added.

"I know, Sammy. Don't worry about it. Goodnight." He replied understandingly.

"Goodnight. Please, actually get some sleep." He nodded.

"I will." He got up, took his final swig of beer and headed to bed. I peeked in Hannah's room before I went in mine to make sure our mini argument didn't wake her up. She was sound asleep. I went to bed and uncomfortably went to sleep myself
