I woke up around 3 in the afternoon and Sam still wasn't up. We had called it quits about midnight the night before, and he was low on sleep, but I was still surprised to not see him up. I walked to his room and peeked in. He was still asleep and based on how he moved, I could tell he was just asleep and not still unconscious or dead. That was reassuring. I let him sleep. I started getting really worried when he was still asleep at about 6. I went back to his room and this time, woke him up.

"Dean? What do you want? What time is it?" He asked irritably.

"It's 6pm. You've slept for like 18 hours. I was just making sure you were ok." I replied cautiously. He seemed mad.

"I've gotten hardly any sleep the past couple weeks. I'm fine. I'm just exhausted. I feel like I just got hit by a truck. I know I said we'd go find her today, but-" he started. I knew I had destroyed him physically by pushing him so much.

"Don't worry about it. We can go when you're feeling ok. Look Sam, I'm sorry. I pushed you way too hard with searching for her. I didn't let you sleep and I'm so sorry I pushed you so much. Sleep as long as you need." I answered. I felt so bad. He was in so much pain and was so exhausted and it was my fault.

"Dean, it's ok. You wanted to find her and so did I. I'll be ok. We can leave tomorrow morning no matter how I feel, ok?" He suggested. "Why do you seem so upset?" He asked.

"I just pushed you too hard, ok? I feel bad. You're in pain and exhausted and it's because I sacrificed your health for Hannah. Don't worry about it. I'll let you sleep." I walked out and shut the door.

~Sam's POV~

There was something else bugging Dean but I was too tired to try to do anything about it. I fell back asleep and woke back up the next morning at about 9. I walked out to Dean who was sitting at the table drinking some coffee.

"Hey, how you feeling?" He asked.

"Better. I still don't feel great, but I'm up for finding her. What's the plan for getting her by the way. It's not like they'll just hand her over." I commented.

"If they don't give her over based on what we tell them, then we can let her pick and hopefully she will choose us. It's all I got." Dean replied. I could sense the worry in his voice.

"We'll give it a shot. Let's go." I answered. We drove off. We pulled up to a quaint little house with a huge yard. I pulled the paper out of my pocket and it was the right address. We both put a gun and a blade in our pockets just in case. We rang the doorbell. A young couple in their mid 30s answered.

"Can we help you?" The woman asked.

"Yes ma'am. Mrs. Jones, I'm Sam and this is my brother, Dean. We originally had Hannah living with us, but she was taken by child services because we had yet to legally become her custodians. We were told to go to the child services office and obtain custody but by that point you had taken her. We just want our little girl back." I explained.

"Well, I'm sorry, but she's our little girl now. She's happy now." They stated.

"Can we at least see her? Please? At least let us say goodbye." Dean croaked out. They exchanged glances and nodded. We were let inside.

"Hannah!" They hollered. A happy little girl came running down the stairs.

"Yes?" She asked politely.

"Hannah, this is Sam and Dean. They say you lived with them for a while. They want you back. You're our daughter, but they wanted to at least see you before they left." They explained to her.

"Hey kiddo." I stated. Hannah stood there and didn't come to us or say a word to us.

"I don't want them here." She told her new parents sadly. They began to kick us out.

"I think you should go." They said as we were forced towards the door.

"Wait." Dean stated. "Hannah, I'm sorry. It was all my fault. I should have kept you safer. I came here with Sam because we want you back. We tried to get you back, but it was too late. I forced Sam to stay up practically all night for the past 3 weeks to find you so that I could have my little girl back. I love you and Sam loves you. We need you. I need you. We're family." Dean stated as he cried. Hannah's face shifted from a happy kid to one who was on the verge of crying. She ran up to Dean and he wrapped her in a hug. She cried into his shoulder.

"I need you, Dean. I miss you." She lifted her head up.

"Mom, dad, please let them take me. I love them. They are my family. Please?" She begged.

"No. You're ours." The parents stripped her from Dean's arms and walked back into the room with her. They then looked at us with a sinister grin on their faces. "You shouldn't have done that, Winchesters." They stated ominously before flashing their black eyes at us. I muttered under my breath. "Now get back inside." They told us before we could make it all the way out. Sam and I put our hands up in surrender.

"Look, how about we make a deal? We get Hannah, and you guys live. No one bothers anyone again." Dean suggested. They shook their heads no.

"No. She's ours. They taunted. "Once she's a little older and stronger, she's our little demon."

"Hannah, go upstairs. You don't need to see this." I told her. She abided and ran up the stairs.

We got our blades and attacked them as best as we could. The mom was easy and we killed her in no time. The dad however, was strong. I was flung into the wall, hurting my arm and making me feel even more like I was hit by a truck. I pulled myself up and helped Dean. He was being strangled against the wall. He was about to pass out when I stabbed the dad in the back. They were both dead.

Dean slid down heavily. I helped him up. "You ok?" I asked.

"I'm fine." He snapped. "Hannah! You can come down now. It's ok." He hollered. A terrified Hannah came down the stairs. She looked at her parents and at us with a horrified look on her face.

"They were demons honey. They wanted us to come so they could try to kill us. They wanted to make you a demon. It's ok." I explained. She nodded and ran to me in fear. I picked her up. She was getting heavy and it hurt my arm but I didn't care. I handed her off to Dean. He gripped her like she would die the second he let go.

"We're going home, kiddo." Dean stated. I saw her nod into his shoulder. We got back in the car. Dean drove like always and Hannah sat in the back despite me offering to drive so he could sit with her. We got back and sat on the couch with Hannah.
