I had Marina for two other classes which were Chorus and Chemistry. She actually sat next to me in those two classes and I was happy, even though we didn't talk at all during those classes.

I first started having a thing for Marina in 8th grade. She had transferred from another school because her mom and dad fought a lot so he took her from her mom. She has always been popular she was that very known girl who was new and well I wasn't. I was never part of the so called 'Popular Group' and I didn't really mind but I did when it came to Marina.

After all these years I still have a crush on her but according to my druggie mom she calls it an "obsession".

I called today my luckiest day ever.

As I walked out the school entrance with some books on my hand I heard someone scream out my name and I know who exactly it was.

"Lana!" I turned around to see that it was Marina.
"Yes Marina? Is everything alright?" I was worried that Jake did something to her.
"I'm fine but I was wondering if you wanted to do something. Anything I just really don't have friends anymore, except you Lana." My heart literally melted when she looked at me and said my name. I didn't hesitate, not even for a second.
"Sure. Let's do something right now." She gave me a smile of approval and we both continued walking.

I tried looking for my car keys to open the car. I couldn't find them.
"Here let me carry your books for you." Marina insisted and she took them.
"Thanks." I smiled. I was getting scared because I really couldn't find them and my mom would kill me.
"Aha! I found them." She giggled and I felt her stare at me but I acted like I didn't see her or even felt her stare.

We got into the car and Marina sat in the front row seat.
"So what exactly are we doing and going?" I ask her as I start the engine of the car.
"I have enough money to buy pizza and sodas." She made me feel so vulnerable. I just wanted to hold her hand and kiss her.

I started the car and we drove off. It was quite and so I decided to start a conversation.
"So what kind of music do you like?"
"I can honestly listen to anything except rap and country and, ew Taylor Swift." We both laughed and I turned on the radio and a Taylor Swift song came on. She made these cute disgusting faces which made me laugh so hard and she continued to make me laugh.

We finally got to Dominos and I noticed when Marina handed the money to the cash register, that on her left arm she had cuts. I felt a pain in my heart when I saw those cuts on her. I looked away before she saw me staring at her arm.

We walked to a nearby park and I was surprised that there wasn't people at the park. Me and Marina had the whole park to ourselves.

"Swings!" she said out loud like a little girl. Everything she did was like magic and everything she felt, I felt. It was as if we were both connected by our hearts.

"We should eat on that table." I suggested pointing to the farthest table where nobody could barely see us. I was surprised I actually ate a lot because I almost never really ate. After she saw that I was finished she asked me
"Swings?" this time pouting.
"Sure." I smiled.

We then walked to the swings and we each got a swing to sit on.
"Alright so who ever goes the highest wins."
"Well we all know who is going to win here." I sounded kind of cocky for a moment.
"Sure." She said back sarcastically.

We both swung up high and when I reached my highest point I looked to my side to face her and we both smiled at each other.

"Jump off with me!" She said which I never agreed on doing.
"Are you crazy?" I asked.
"Kinda." She laughed and I smirked.
"Well I have never done it before." She looked at me as if saying that I haven't lived life.
"Alright. Fine I'll do it." I only agreed because her eyes made me want to do it. We were both still high up swinging back and forth.

She then reached her hand to me and I grabbed her hand which felt soft and her fingertips were so touchable.
"On the count of three okay Lana?" I nodded and glared at her. I was actually scared that I might hurt myself.
"One, Two.. Three!" We both jumped off with our hands together. I saw her face filled with excitement as we jumped off.

We both landed safely. I turned to see her and she was staring at me, almost the same way as I stare at her to admire her beauty. I looked at her back, I got lost and nervous while gazing into her brown eyes.

She broke the stare first and seemed kind of embarrassed that she got caught by me.
"You're actually cool Lana. You're nothing like what that popular group said you were." She made me smile and I felt my face blush which made me embarrassed.

She then got a call.
"Hello." It was probably one of her parents because she said she would be home soon.
"Well I think its time for us to leave." I suggested.
"I can give you a ride." I really didn't mind as long as I was with Marina everything was great.

We reached to where she lived and then she asked me an odd question out of nowhere.
"When's your birthday Lana?"
"June. June 21." I said as she smiled at me.
"Well thanks again for the ride and such an amazing day. I enjoyed it."
"Yeah sure." I smiled as she walked out the car. I waited until she got inside her house and I noticed she had a stain on her pants.

"Marina!" I screamed out and jogged to where she stood.
"What's wrong.?" she asked scared.
"You have a stain on the back of your pants."
"Oh shit." She seemed embarrassed and it was cute the way she blushed.
