Chapter 5.5

"Alright students settle down." the music teacher tried catching our attention but everyone was talking. Until she finally yelled and shut us all up.
"Everyone quiet down, it should not take me 5 minutes too start class! You guys are adults I should not be reminding you to be quiet!"

I just looked over to Marina who softly giggled. I almost started laughing so I put my hands on my mouth to cover it. The teacher then told us to take out our assignment she had given us.

"Oh shit Lana.. I forgot to write down a draft of a song.. I'm sorry." I was happy I had done the draft for both of us.
"Don't worry Marina I did a draft but I'm not sure you may like the song."
She smiled at me "Lana don't worry I won't and at least you did the homework. Now can I read the draft of your song?"
"Our song Marina." I said as I took the song draft out of my binder. As she read it I saw her smile grow bigger.

Everybody in the class read their song draft some were short others were pretty long. I told Marina she should sing the song while I play on the piano. She seemed surprised that I could play the piano, which I guess is very shocking.

"Lana and Marina. Your up next." We quickly got up our chairs and I was very nervous even though I was just playing the piano but when I sat down in front of the piano Marina whispered in my ear good luck. I felt so confident in that moment that I didn't want to mess up.

Then Marina started singing first:
"Every now and then the stars align, boy and girl meet by the great design. Could it be you and me are the lucky ones? Everybody told me love was blind, never saw your face and you blew my mind. Finally you and me are the lucky ones this time.."

I looked over to where she stood and she was already looking at me. The teacher then wrote down notes and told us to sit back on our seats. During the rest of the period I thought about Marina's voice, she really knows how to sing. Her deepish voice made me feel so amazing inside. I realized how amazingly talented Marina was and how beautiful she is as well.

When class ended we walked together to were my locker is located.
"Hey Lana after school you wanna hang out and do something?"
"Yeah I'm down. Where do I meet you up?"
"By the school entrance but if you don't see me you should text me." she handed me a note with her number on it and then walked down the hallway to her class. I just leaned on the locker while I saw her sway her hips as she walked. I don't usually bite my lip but the way she walks just made me bite my lip hard.

***A few hours later***

I didn't need to text her because she was actually outside already waiting for me.
"Hey" I said as I approached her while she speed walked over to me and hugged me.
"Shall we go?" She smirked. Why does she always make feel so vulnerable to my knees.

"So where exactly are we going Marina?"
"Not sure.. Maybe to your house if that's alright with you?" I nodded in approval but I really wasn't sure what we were going to do there.

When we arrived I hoped my mom wasn't home so it would just be me and Marina. As we both entered my home I made sure that Marina knew she could make her self feel at home. When all of a sudden I hear steps coming down the stairs.

"Lana I'm not staying again today. Where's my wallet have you-" my mom stopped as she saw that we had someone over.
"Oh.. Hello there." My mom tried being polite.
"Hello. I'm Marina." When she said that my mom looked over to me and gave me smirk and raised her eyebrow. I got so red instantly not only did she look weird but she almost gave away the fact that i like Marina.
"Well nice to meet you Marina. I really have to go now so bye Lana." It's weird because not only did probably drank but she forget all about the wallet.

"I'm sorry she's a bit embarrassing and doesn't really have manners."
"Oh don't worry about it." she then took out a piece of gum and started chewing it.

"So... What do you wanna do?"
"We should watch a movie!" Marina said excited and her eyes were filled with such great energy, energy that made me feel what she was feeling. Her smile is so contagious and her eyes are so admirable and well I'm.. I'm just a potato compared to her beauty.

We when up to my room and I closed the curtains and when downstairs to make some popcorn while she chose a movie on Netflix. I then took out some cups and poured pepsi cola into them. I poured the popcorn into a big bag.

As I walked up the stairs Marina yelled out "Hurry up Lana I will start the movie without you!" I could hear her laugh as I ran towards my room.
"Your such a savage Marina." she smiled and took her bubblegum out and threw it into the trashcan.
"I'm so not a savage." I sat down next to her as she touched my cheek with her finger and quietly said "I'm your bubblegum bitch."

She said 'your' and her accent is just so marvelous when she whispers. I really couldn't help but smile like a little creep.

She grabbed the remote and pressed play and the movie she picked was 'High School Musical'.
