5. We knew it

"Vidicon day 1 has started and I have no meet ups today which is sad because I am super excited to meet you all tomorrow but I am going out shopping with Tanya, Zoe and Louise in about 10 minutes so I will update you all then, cya" I do a little wave then shut off my vlogging camera and set it down on the table beside me. I was ready to meet up with the girls and soon enough they were at my door. "You ready Y/N" Zoe chirped from the door, "Yeah hurry up we are all waiting" Louise added. I quickly grabbed my purse, phone and keys and made my way out of the hotel door.

When we got to the shopping center or mall as Americans call it I got out my vlogging camera and began to vlog again. "So I am here with the lovely Louise, Tanya and Zoe" I said and pointed  the camera at each of them when I said there names, "And we are heading into the shopping center or mall if you like to do a little bit of clothing and makeup shopping". "And and and, were gonna get pop tarts and fruit loops" Zoe jumped in the back of the vlog and I giggled at how excited she was getting, "yes we are" I said into the camera then shut it down and put it into my purse.

We all got what we wanted from the shops and I got some amazing footage of Tanya, Zoe and Louise doing a funny dance in one of the shopping isles. We had been shopping for 2 and a half hours now and we were all really tired, and if i'm being honest bought way to much so we all began our journey back to the hotel. On the way back we were playing truth or dare and it was my turn, "Truth or Dare" Zoe asked me, "Truth" I grinned knowing if I chose dare then they would probably want me to say something ridiculous to a stranger passing by.

"Okay do you or do you not have a crush on my brother" Zoe grinned at me. Now I knew this was coming, a year ago was the first time I met Joe, through Zoe of course, and ever since we met we have been comfortable and close around each other. So All our Youtubers friends think we have crushes on each other and I won't even start on our fanbase. I would be lying if I said I didn't have a crush on Joe but I know for sure Joe does not feel the same way about me so I guess I have always avoided the question, until now.

"And we want the truth and nothing but the truth" Tanya added, I took a deep breath and said "yes" in the most casual manner as I could manage. This was followed by numerous squeals from the girls, I will never hear the end of this now. "Omg seriously though you two would make a cute couple" Zoe said grinning at me, "yeah and to be honest we all knew you did" Tanya added grinning as well. "So when are you gonna ask him" Louise asked me, I took a pause before saying "probably... Never" I said and everyone just stop walking.

"Y/N you have to ask him or at least tell him" Tanya said to me in shock, "yes but he doesn't feel the same back and I don't want to ruin our friendship" I replied still standing on the sidewalk. "You have to at least tell him, its only fair" Louise told me and I just nodded back agreeing I would tell him. "And anyway I think you will be surprised at Joe's reaction" Zoe added, we all carried on into the hotel and I told the girls that I would invite Joe round tonight before we all go to the restaurant and tell him then. They all wished me good luck as I went back to my own room.

~ later on that evening

I had already gotten ready for going out to the restaurant later and had just sent the text to Joe asking if he could come down to my room by himself. I nervously fidgeted with my dress and kept checking myself in the mirror and saying what I wanted to say over and over  into it. I was slightly shaking but I held myself together as best as I could.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door, Joe. I steadily opened the door to a exited looking Joe, "Hey Y/Nickname, whats up" he asked, "You better come in" I say and step aside so Joe could come in. His expression turns cautious as he walks over and sits on my bed. I stand in front of him and lean on my dresser, I could feel the nerves really getting at this moment.

I look up to see Joe patiently looking at me, "were good friends aren't we" I say and Joe gives a confused look before replying "yes, we are". I take a deep breath in, "Well will you promise me no matter what I say in the next minute will change the relationship between us" I look at him hopeful and he looks me in the eyes and whispers 'promise'. I take one last deep breath and decide this is it, "you know how we are quite close and how our fans ship us together and our friends tell us we be a cute couple and we just ignore them and shake our head" I look towards Joe again and he nods. "Well it's not fair if I don't tell you this..." I take a brief pause before saying, "I like you and I have had a crush on you pretty much since I met you".

I felt a huge weight lift off my chest, That was it I did it, I turned to Joe and he was already looking at me with a smirk on his face. "So you have liked me since we met?" Joe said standing up from the bed, I nod in reply. Suddenly I feel his lips upon mine and it was like I had found what was missing from my life. He broke away and smiled "Y/N?" He asked, "yes" I replied, "will you be my girlfriend" I asked biting his lip a little, "YES" I said and he pulled me back into the kiss.

*cough cough*
Me and Joe break apart from our kiss and look towards the door to find Caspar, Marcus, Jim, Alfie, Zoe, Tanya, Louise and Naomi smirking at both of us. In sink they all said "We knew it!". Me and Joe looked at each other and couldn't help but laugh. This is how I met the man of my dreams.
