I sit wrapped up in my snug hoodie among my bed sheets. I found a brown leather box when i was cleaning so thought id sit and have a look through. I take the lid off and am greeted with a polaroid. A tear rolls down my cheek...

"And this is Joe" Louise introduced me to the final person of the group, "everyone this is y/n, be nice" she said and walked off with Naomi . I stood awkwardly in front of the group, I never was great with social situations. Luckily a tall blonde, who i now know as Caspar stepped forward, " its nice to meet you at last, Louise has told us lots about you" he smiled at me. I returned the smile "nice to meet you to".

"Right who's ready to party!" Caspar shouted, everyone cheered, then they all seemed to go off in different directions, i stayed on my spot. A beautiful woman who was around the same height as me approached with two drinks, "hi i'm Tanya, as you already know" she giggled to herself then passed me the other drink she was holding. "Thanks" i said taking a sip, "so how are you and Louise connected?" She asks me, "she's my cousin, she actually introduced me to the whole YouTube thing" I replied.

"Well, welcome to the family you'll love it" she giggled giving my a little side hug. Me and Tan decided to go sit down at the bar where Louise and Naomi were sitting. "Hey" we said to the girls as we sat down next to them.

"What have you two been up to" I ask them, "well we've actually been talking about Joe over there" Naomi said with a massive smirk aimed at me. I look confused, "no way, you haven't noticed!" Louise almost yells, "noticed what?" I say in a more hushed loud tone. "He hasn't taken his eyes off of you since the group" Naomi and Louise say in sync. I turn around on the stool looking for him when i spot him, their right, he is. I think he saw me looking back as he is heading towards me.

I'm getting nervous and sweaty, this hasn't happened in a long time, all three girls start getting giddy but I'm just focused on Joe. The booming music that filled the room has gotten quieter in my head, its all going slow. "Hey, wanna dance" i'm snapped out of thought by joe, i nod in response since i am unable to speak. He takes my hand and we dance, we don't really talk just dance and smile at each other. It's nice. Really nice.

"Wanna go on a adventure?" He asks me out of no where, hesitantly i nod. He grabs my hand and leads me out of the party, "where are we going exactly?" I ask confused. "Its an adventure" is all he says and i see something shimmer in his blue eyes that tells me this is going to be fun. We walk down the street for around 15 minutes when we come across a beach. Nobody is on it and the stars are reflecting off of the dark water, its truly magical and makes me stop in my tracks to admire the scenery.

The sea air is blowing gently through my hair. We sit in the middle of the beach and i wrap my arms around myself to keep warm, I didn't exactly think id be on the beach so I wasn't really prepared. Joe notices and pulls me into him, a rush of sparks swirl through me and i'm left with this loving feeling in my stomach. I look up at him and he at me. Suddenly we end up inches apart and joe closes the gap, pressing his lips against mine, as cheesy as it sounds i could feel fireworks spark between us and i felt like this is the point my life has been building up to.

We had only just met and already i was smitten, i had never ever fallen for a guy so easily before but it felt right. We pull apart and smile, I didn't want to leave this moment ever, i know life must go on but i needed something to be reminding of how i feel right now. Suddenly I remember, i've got my polaroid camera in my bag, i take it out. "Do you mind if i take a picture" i ask him a little nervous.

He laughs, "of course not". I hold the camera pointing towards our faces and i smile but Joe has other ideas. As i'm about to take the picture he attacks me with kisses all over the left side of my face, the photo had been taken. "Hey" i say still having a giggle fit, "sorry I couldn't wait to kiss you again" he said softly with an innocent smile.
