33. Pizza!

Authors note: Can we just appreciate how amazing this pizza is! Joe received it during his and Caspar's 3 hours silence for stand up to cancer 3rd September 2016. "Joooeee" I whine from the sofa, "yeeessss" I hear joe call from upstairs in the same way. "I'm hungry" I shout up the stairs, "what do you want?" Joe says coming down the stairs and greets me with a quick peck on the lips. He continues into the living room and I follow. "Can we get pizza?" I say jumping onto the sofa next to him, "sure i'm kind of hungry too" he says getting up to go use the landline.

40 minutes later...

*knock knock* "I'll get it" I quickly get up and go answer the door picking up the money left on the counter as i do. "Pizza delivery, that will be £18.99" the young man says passing me the bag, I take it off of him and pass him a £20 note. "Keep the change" I smile, "thank you" he smiles back, "no problem" I say then shut the door as he walks away from the house. I go into the kitchen and put our food onto two plates and bring kitchen roll to wipe our fingers with once we have finished.

We decided to binge watch old friends episodes as we were feeling nostalgic for Monica, Rachel, Phoebe, Chandler, Joey and Ross. I snuggled into Joe's side as I ate the pizza, laughing along to the show trying not to splutter pizza everywhere. I loved nights like this, it was always the smaller things that I enjoyed, of course I was grateful if he took me out to dinner and when he is the gentleman he is but smaller things I feel like I know Joe and he my friend I wouldn't want to live without.
