9. Fights

A/N: so I had this idea about using lyrics from a song and make it into a story, I am not sure if this will work but tell me what you think. The songs called fluorescent adolescent by arctic monkeys and I have link the song above. Lyrics used from the song will be in bold.

Joe p.o.v

I was sat all alone in the apartment waiting for Y/N, it was just past 5am and she still wasn't home. She kept going on spontaneous nights out with her friends, and getting very drunk.

"You used to get it in your fishnets,
Now you only get it in your night dress
Discarded all the naughty nights for niceness" she sang into her iPhone screen, it was on her snapchat story and I had had just about enough until I heard someone stumble in behind me. It was
Y/N. I turn to her and give a very stern look.

"And where have you been?" I ask her, "you know where i've been Joe" she reply's obviously still drunk. " Looks to me that you Landed in a very common crisis" I said standing up trying not to raise my voice. "Remember when we went to that festival, Nothing seems as pretty as the past" she said going into the fridge. "Anyway I was only with Katie, Laura, Jade and mike" she said innocently, " Mike as in your ex mike" I asked and she nodded.

"Of course you were with Mike, that boys a slag", Y/N put down her drink and faced me "so what if I went with Mike, whats it to do with you". "And He was The best you ever had I'm guessing"' I was getting really wound up now, "just a memory" she shrugged.

I hated when she acted like this, it wasn't like her at all. "Why do you always act like this after a night out, you know I get worried" I said trying to calm myself down. "Act like what joe, stop getting so Clingy and sentimental it was just a night out, its  not like you don't go out to" she started to shout at me.

"You Said you wasn't going but you went still" I shouted back at her, I was becoming more angry with her. "And what Joe do you want me to stop going out with my friends, want me to stop having fun for once" she screamed at me, " I don't mind you going out with your friends, its when you go out with ex's" I reply to her.

"Joe some of my friends are my ex's, stop being a over protective and let me do what I want" she shouted at me. That was it I grabbed my jacket which had my phone in it and headed out the door. Before I left i said "I thought I knew you, you were a sweet caring person, where did you go?"
And with that I left, I called Zoe and took a train down to hers to sort myself out.
