I heard Joe come through the door, something has seemed off with him lately, Something isn't right when were talking and it looks like he's hiding his problems, I can't tell what it is but something was bothering him. "Hello?" I call out to him, I hear a mumbled 'hey' back, "Joe can you come here a second" I asked him wanting to know what was going on. "Whats up hun?" I ask, he stares at me for a few moments, I could tell he was arguing with himself thinking if he wanted to get into this conversation right now.
He sighs looking defeated, "nothing" he says not at all convincing, I pat the space on the sofa next to me for him to sit down. "Okay, I don't know its just i've been down for so long it looks like up to me" he admits, I nod for him to go on. "Ever since I got 'big' on Youtube i've got fake people showing fake love to me" he says looking at the floor, I can't help but feel this is something to do with the collab he did a couple weeks back. "Hey, were is this all coming from?" I ask sympathetically wrapping an arm around his shoulders. "I don't know I think its all the meetings an people, its become a little too overwhelming, I don't want to disappoint anyone but I've met loads of people who I know are only with me because of my popularity and its scary" he says relaxing into my side.
"Theres people who smile in my face, when I know the whole time they want to take my place" he says laying his head on my shoulder. "Joe maybe you should have a day off, you've been going to so many meetings lately and I don't want you to feel down all the time when you are a great person" I tell him resting my head on top of him. "You know people come and go but the ones you want to be in your life stay, not because they have to because they want to" I continue hugging him closer to me. "If you are so worried about these people, cut them out of your life and ignore them, its not always easy but its your happiness thats most important" I leave a small kiss on his head as he snuggles into my side.
"Thank you y/n" he says looking up at me, "what would I do without you" he chuckles to himself. We stay snuggled on the sofa that night and just relax together.
