I sit, dangling my legs off of the tall building staring off across the city. It's just me and my thoughts and the beautiful scenery in front of me. As i'm staring off into the city someone taps my shoulder, I turned around quite shocked as I thought I was the only one here. It was a boy, an attractive boy may I add.

He had blonde hair and blue eyes, he was wearing a white shirt with black jeans. "Do you mind if I sit next to you?" He asks me nervously, I stare for a while not meaning to before snapping back into reality and replying "sure!". I smile as he sits next to me, we are silent for a while just staring out into the city before he says "I'm Joe by way", "Y/N" I replied with a smile.

"So how come your up here" he asks me leaning back, "well I like to escape from reality and responsibilities sometimes and its very pretty up here so its a nice relaxing place to come when I'm down" I answer him, "what about you?" I ask him. He sits for a second or two to think of his answer, "I actually an escaped criminal trying to get away from the police" he says in the most ordinary way. For some reason I begin to believe him and start to get all panicky in my head, I didn't even know this guy and I was sat on a roof with him.

"I'm kidding" he laughed and I just nervously laughed along as a huge wave of relief washes over me. "So what do you do then, job wise" Joe asks me out of the blue, "Oh, I'm in university, what about you?" I ask him as if I was the most boring person in the world. "Well I'm a.... Erm I make Youtube videos" he says awkwardly, "oh like on the Internet" I ask and he nods sheepishly.

"Yeah I've heard about YouTubers with all the screaming fans but i've never actually seen any videos" I say smiling and he returns my smile. We sit and chat on the roof for a while until he has to go. "It was really nice to meet you, odd place to meet someone but it was lovely" he says standing up cautiously and taking a thew steps back from the edge. "It was nice to meet you to, good luck with the whole YouTube thing" I reply.

He looks at me for a second, "do you want to exchange phone numbers?" he asks me, I glance up at him and say "Sure". We quickly exchange numbers and then he leaves. That was the best experience of my life, I think to myself as I look out onto the city again.
