"Scott?" Chris said, his eyes slitted as Scott nodded at him in acknowledgment, "Mr. Argent." Scott's lips pulling into a thin line.

"How are you doing?" Chris asked a supposedly pleasant smile on his face as he tilted his head.

"Good. You know, just hangin' out. Is this one of yours? It's, uh, good. Nice design. Very constricting." Scott said nodding, his gaze returning from the trap that rendered him upside down back to Chris and his men, the smell of fear radiating off of the teen; although he did well in hiding it.

"What are you doing out here, Scott?" Chris sighed, "Isn't he doing the same as us?" I questioned stepping out of the shadows, my hands raised up in surrender as he went for his gun which I had successfully disarmed him off. I smiled, looking at him almost disappointed.

"Go on, reach for the gun in your left boot," my voice dropping an octave lower as I whispered, "I dare you too," my eyes flashing a luscious red before returning grey.

"Ah, that's right. Lydia's in your group now, isn't she? Part of the clique? Is that the word you use? Or is there another way to put it? Part of your pack?" Chris asked looking between Scott and I, I snorted and nodded.

"Actually, clique sounds about right to me." I licked my lips as I leant against a tree. Russ, Klaus, Elijah and Kol stepping out of the shadows. Chris refused to back down as he turned to Scott,

"Scott, do you know what a Hemicorporectomy is?" he asked as I sighed.

"I have a feeling I don't want to." Kol smiled at Scott and nodded his head in approval.

"A medical term for amputating somebody at the waist. Cutting them in half. Takes a tremendous amount of strength to cut through tissue and bone like that. Let's hope a demonstration never becomes necessary."

I snorted, "We'll see about that," I threatened as I let my claws grow, I raised my eyebrows as I stepped back into the shadows.

I sat in Klaus's Ford GT, tapping impatiently against the steering wheel as I stared at the grey bonnet. Russ sat beside me, a smile tugging at his lips. "I've never been to school before?" he said, his eyes locking on a few students as his eyes turned red. I slapped his shoulder, "Stop that, no feeding." I demanded as he smiled at me.

He brushed off his leather jacket and straightened his white shirt. Re-buttoning the cuffs, as he slipped on some sunglasses. He sighed and tilted his head at me, following suit I slipped on my own glasses; before pulling the collar of my acid washed muscle tee, feeling as though it was suffocating me. I brushed my clammy hands against my ripped skinny jeans before pulling on a snap back.

Russ stepped out, closing his door before walking around and opening my own. He smiled warmly putting on the act that Klaus had asked of us, he reached in taking my hand in his helping me out. He planted a delicate kiss against the back of my hand before interlacing our fingers. We walked into the school, many eyes trained on us as we walked in, I smiled looking up at Russ as he cheekily pecked me on the lips.

'Too far,' I complained through, what we established was a mind-link that we shared. He chuckled, as he looked down at me, his eyes flickering between my eyes and my mouth.

"Sorry if I'm just following orders," I snorted, playfully slapping him although I wished I could hit him harder.

"You are me I am you, if I choose to disobey, you should also." He smiled at me leaning in closer,

"...And what if? I like these orders." I shook my head, looking at his face, as I searched for any significance to that comment. Coming up short, I turned abruptly stalking trough the hallways as he trailed after me.

Russ sat behind me, our gaze averted from Scott, Stiles, and Allison who glared at the both of us, during the whole period they had exchanged texts as they knew we could hear them. I freely spoke out of term, Russ and I feeling the misery of Silver as he missed his original pack. The bell rang and I sighed leaving the class immediately.

Coach grabbed me pulling me away from the crowds, "Before you even try to deny Hall, I really want you on the team."

I rolled my eyes shaking my head, "Klaus seriously?" he stepped out from behind the lockers, "I need you to fit in become, 'popular,' so that we can get information when we need it." He demanded.

I scowled, "Klaus I'm not gonna be a pawn in your game, I want to make my own decisions after all this is my last year."

He growled taking my words all too seriously, "You're not going to get hurt, let me protect you." He said the conversation taking a turn for the worst, I licked my lips looking down.

"Don't worry about it Klaus, remember I don't have to be popular to get answers; you should have learnt that after the many prisoners I have gotten information out of." I raised my eyebrow crossing my arms. "Stiles is trying to find me, let me go all right, I'll do everything you ask, and do one better." I turned looking over my shoulder, "I'll make it easy."

I walked casually around the corner, waving politely over to Stiles who ran to me. "What were you thinking yesterday?" he asked, looking around before pulling me into the janitor's closet.

"I wasn't thinking, my wolf was. My first instinct will always be to put my pack first, and I was merely trying to protect Scott." I said averting my eyes as I scratched my neck. Stiles looked at me confused, "Look I've been gone for a while, I've changed a lot and you may never get the full story but just know. I never meant to hurt you guys, or break your trust." I looked him in the eyes as I spoke meaningfully. He looked at me, his eyes furrowed as he shook his head, "Why are you back?" I exhaled sharply,

"We won't be here for long if that's what you're secretly hinting at, but I'm back because you guys are in danger." I looked up sniffing, "And Scott," I paused, "I know your listening to my heart beat, you should know that I'd never intentionally lie to you, I'd only ever keep information away from you as an act of protection." I turned my attention back to Stiles. "I am sorry Stiles." I inclined my head to the side, my eyes furrowed as my eyes darted over the concrete wall, my ears perked.

"Crap, I- I got to go, yo- you have to go!" I yelled urgently turning and running out the door, he watched as I swung through an open window, flipping upwards and scaling the building.
