Evelyn Hall's POV - 03 / 07 / 2013 : Apartment 6:2B

"So, you think he was just sleepwalking? Or is there something more to it?" Aiden asked, as he eyed me cautiously. I smirked at him, a menacing glint in my pure black eyes.

"In this town there's always something more." Derek muttered, pacing in front of me. I smirked, licking my lips, "You're not wrong there," my voice a little above a whisper as I crossed my arms.

"What if I told you I know something more? I kind of overheard... Well, I listened in on Stiles talking to Scott. How he thinks he was the one who wrote that message in the Chemistry room. The message telling Barrow to kill Kira." I nodded my lips tilting up as I tilted my head in curiosity.

"So I'm not the only smart one in the impermanent pack?" Derek eyed the two of us in disbelief,

"You think Stiles, skinny, defenseless, Stiles is the Nogitsune? A powerful, dark spirit?" Derek shook his head in wonderment, a low chuckle escaping his parted lips.

"Oh please as if we aren't the only ones thinking it." I pointed an accusing finger at Rose, "Aiden just happened to be the only one saying it." I licked my lips, "You know what they say, once is chance, twice is a coincidence, and third is a pattern."

Still seemingly struggling with the idea, Derek shook his head, "This thing wants to possess someone and chooses Stiles? Why wouldn't it take someone bigger, stronger? Someone with a little more... Power." I scoffed,

"What like you? Myself? Scott?" I paused, "Stiles is perfect, unnoticed, unpredictable a real trick,"  my eyebrows raised suggestively, as I smirked.

I hugged John in a comforting manner, his jaw clenched in worry as he watched over his son.

"Okay. Stiles, just to warn you, you're going to hear a lot of noise during the MRI. It's due to pulses of electricity going through metal coils inside the machine. Uh, if you want we can get you earplugs or headphones." The Doctor said as Scott and I shared a similar look of concern.

"Oh, no, no, I don't need anything." The Doctor nodded, leaving with John in tow. Scott and I immediately turned our attention to Stiles.

"Okay. You know what they're looking for, right? It's called frontotemporal dementia. Areas of your brain start to shrink. It's what my mother had. It's the only form of dementia that can hit teenagers. And there's no cure." I played along, allowing a minimal amount of emotion through as I gasped,

"Stiles, if you have it, we'll do something. I'll do something." Gritting my teeth, I hugged Stiles my eyes appearing teary as I internally wondered what the fox was up to.

"Stiles hold tight," I whispered my voice soft yet withheld of emotion. I watched as my eyes began to cloud over with splotches of red, my tone differing to a dangerously low and out of the ordinary voice. "I'm coming for you," my threat hanging in the silent room as I turned, my back now facing the MRI  scanner. "I'm coming for you," I whispered in promise, my fingers knotting together as I felt a pang of guilt ricochet throughout my body.

I exited the room, my ear trained on Derek's voice which carried down the long hallway.

"I don't know if I should go in. You're going to tell Scott that Barrow might have used foxfire, created by me, to jump start the Nogitsune's power inside Stiles." The Fox girl asked, as she and Derek stood opposed from each other.

"Yeah." Derek muttered clearly bored as he admired the hospitals scenery.

"Basically that I helped a dark spirit take control of his best friend."

Derek paused considering the thought, "You should probably wait here."

"You should probably leave before I rip your limbs from your body." I smiled politely, "No time for pleasantries such as introductions, leave now." I waved my hand, as I took a deep breath facing Derek. "Hello."

"Hello?"

"In warning," I smiled smugly, before shoving his face carelessly into the wall, "Don't call me from 11PM onwards." He growled lowly, as he stood straighter his stature towering over me as I crossed my arms.

"He was trying to protect us. Stiles was protecting us." Scott gasped, as he rushed towards us.

"From himself." I confirmed, "You guys are going to hate me for this, unless you already do; keep in mind that it's for you're best interest." I smiled warmly, yet it was all a facade as I snapped their necks effortlessly. Rose appeared besides me, her hands connecting slowly in a round of applause.

Rolling my eyes, I clicked my fingers the lights flickering as a sudden power surge coursed throughout the hospital.

"Where's my son?" John asked, as Rose swung her Katana effortlessly at her side. John emerged from the hospital room his eyes immediately landing on my claws as I allowed my features to restore to an almost human like shape. Nodding my head I dismissed his outstretched hand and howled.

"What're we looking for, because it doesn't look like the Oni?" Rose stated sarcastically, as I bent over besides a large roof top fan.

"I'm not sure. But I think Stiles wasn't just up here struggling with himself. I think he was struggling not to do something." My eyes widened, "Oh no!" I launched into the air, my paws landing with a thud as I leapt off the roof of the building. Midnight black fur bleeding in the night as I emerged at the front of the hospital. Rose growled something along the lines of, "Stupid dog," followed by a string of curse words as she made her slow decent via the stairwell.

I yelped in warning as a power line began to fall upon the Fox girl, she dodged it in time as the line whipped in front of her.

An Ambulance seemingly in a hurry arrives, only to hit the electrified line, and swerving into a water hydrant. I watched onwards as Alison made a move to save the dazed EMT, Isaac immediately gripped her in his arms preventing her from moving into the electrified water; only he was dis-balanced. With vampirism and lycanthropy in my blood I moved with supernatural speed. Throwing him into the safety of the carpark, the water lapping at my feet causing a strangled scream to escape my mouth. A burning sensation warmed my insides, as I fell unable to move.

I gulped back lung fills of air, as I tried to remain conscious. My body convulsing in pain as black spots appeared over my vision. I gurgled as my chest heaved in effort, my head swarmed by sharp stings as my bones twitched. My body made one final lurch upwards, my eyes slowly began to fall covering my vision in darkness. Then it stopped. It all stopped. I stood curiously, as I rubbed my fingers together. I ran my hand through what I had thought was damp hair only to find it dry. My clothes which should've been soaked were also dry. Derek, Scott, Alison and Isaac stood untouched as they looked at me with utter confusion.

"Okay that just happened?"
