Evelyn Hall's POV - 04 / 08 / 2015 : Beacon Hills

I huffed, rubbing my face as I briefly stopped my uncontrollable pacing. My body felt weak, and tired as I recognised that being dead may have actually greatly affected my body. My eyes sporting black bags beneath them, creating an illusion of hollow eyes as they stared back at me emptily. My body had yet to gain shape as it remained hollow and skinny like.

Sweat beaded upon the lines that formed upon my forehead, while my new shortened hair cut lay tousled messily from the wind that had been running threw it effortless as I had run. I had discovered the girls lounging carelessly on the partially destroyed couches, there faces blank  as they shared a quick glance with one another before looking at there Alpha with worry, I'd merely shrugged it off but now seeing as how my body was slowly deteriorating I'd grown to worry myself.

After I quickly had a shower I picked up a pair of black tights, sporting ladders on each leg much to my annoyance, and a flimsy white crop top, overtop I pulled a cream coloured cardigan and my glasses. I knew this outfit would throw people, if they even had the slight inquiry about the new girl, they'd at least think I was new. I applied some make up to my face to obscure the tiredness and made it out to the pack, where they were now joined by the boys.

I smiled lightly, my steel coloured eyes brightening as they smiled in return. "Would you care to inform me of your findings?" I suggested as all remained quiet.

"Nothing, no death's out of the ordinary," Brett stated, handing me the list in the process as I scanned through the names one catching my eye in particular, nonetheless I kept it to myself and instead placed the list on the table.

"Theo acted perfectly normal, his heart beat remained regular throughout the day." Russ's eye twitched in annoyance before he continued with a snarl. "Stiles on the other hand proved difficult to stay away from especially when he interrogated Theo." I allowed a chocked laugh to escape my lips, knowing Stiles wasn't the most subtle one to go about his business.

"Stiles knows, the girls and I ran into him at the Sheriff's department, so there is no need for you to hide from him. You must also understand that Stiles always gets a feeling, and his feelings are usually right."

"Are you really going to trust a human's instinct?" Josh scowled, as I took a step forward licking my lip as my Alpha red eyes met his beta blue.

"Yes I am going to trust a human's instincts, because his are always right." I growled lowly to show my dominance allowing him to back down in submission.

"Silver any evidence of the creature that attacked Scott and I yesterday?"

"Yes, his body was disposed of not far from there, near an abandoned train station." I bit my cheek in worry as I crossed my arms.

"Any idea on how?" Silver shook his head, his stern glare and huff showing his annoyance towards the whole ordeal.

"Alright, off to bed all of you." I commanded, "Early morning tomorrow, I apologise in advance." I said with a smirk as everyone other than Silver and Russ slunk off to there divided rooms.

"Where are you going?" Silver asked, his eyes in slits as he eyed my dangerous stature.

"Where else? Too grab a drink." I smirked maliciously before wrapping the innocent ware tighter around my body to keep the brisk air from my skin. The two watched me suspiciously as I kept my thoughts hay-wired .

I started the car, allowing the dull rumble to mask the phone call from prying ears. I allowed the phone to rest upon my ear as I shifted into gear, steadily driving down the dirt path that was nestled between either side of the forest. "Hey Uncle, where's Parish?"

'Lydia came in here earlier for a favour?' His voice was mumbled whilst he sorted through paper.

"You don't suppose you know where they were heading?" I asked curiously as I turn onto the main road.

'Maple drive, I think, something about a girl suffering severe night terrors.'

"Night terrors?" I exclaimed alarmed before calming down, "Thanks John, and be careful I think there's a monster lurking about."

'Uh yeah, I'm starting to regret ever evolving myself in the supernatural.' He muttered before hanging up allowing me to pick up the speed. If John was right and this girl was suffering night terrors, just as the girl who's name had brought my attention on that recently deceased list, then I was beginning to form a pattern.

I stood outside, resting against the door of my car, the day light was only just beginning to disperse as I eyed the cosy house before me. My ears perked up upon hearing Deputy Parish's voice, my curiosity getting the best of me as I walked closer.

"You said something about bird's Tracy?" His voice was soft, and it caused my curiosity to spike at the new found information. Tracy.

"The bird was at the skylight, the one that woke me up." I licked my lip, my nose crinkling in distaste as a foul smell met my nostrils. Death, and fear. A combination that was usually found at the scene of a murder.  With slight hesitation I began to steadily scale the building, leaping atop the steady roof as I crept closer to the skylight that had been mentioned.

"Can I take a look?" I heard movement in the room bellow me as I stopped attempting to peer into the window and instead sat awaiting for Jordan's arrival. "Tracy you said the skylight was sealed for weather proofing?" His voice was closer than before.

"Yeah why?" The window creaked open, as Jordan's hand pressed to the dirty glass. I pulled my lips into a thin line, knowing that her night terrors were becoming very realistic. Jordan's eyes scanned the devastation of dead birds as mine had done before turning to face me, managing very well to contain his shock. I raised a finger to my lips, before shaking my head. Suggesting that he keep the birds to himself.

"Anything?" Lydia asked from below, as the deputy and I shared one final look.

"No nothing." He said slowly, as the glass sealed him back with in the room leaving me to listen in. They exchanged a few more caring words before Lydia and Jordan departed from the terrified girl, leaving me. With a firm knock on her window, I allowed her to see me, and my calm face. With the window slightly agape I slipped a letter in, knowing that if she really was scared she'd come to me. And that's all I could do, because this tick that I'd once again developed started a curiosity that burned with in me. Something was wrong and I needed to figure it out before it was too late.
