Lyn Hall's POV - Afterlife
Every sound echoed, every movement repeated, every single sense in my body acted with slowness, yet was then repeated with a speed that could barely be caught with the unknowing eye. I took a step between time, tree's withering, and growing dramatically wether slowly, or with-in seconds. It felt as if my brain had been filled with a dense fog as I stumbled into a room.
I nearly fell to my knees, as the tears fell free, every fibre in my body leapt with a burning sensation of loneliness. As my chocked cry echoed loudly in my ears. "Mommy?" My voice felt weak, as my hands made baby like clutches at the air and space between myself and my mother.
"Baby?" she whispered delicately, sweeping me into her comforting arms as she nuzzled her head into the crook of my neck, her arms looping around my waist. She briefly held me back by my shoulders, admiring me with a polite smile before embracing me in a tighter hug.
"Mom," I croaked tears blurring my vision as I searched her blue eyes. "I'm so, so sorry." My eyebrows knitted together in pain as I rubbed furiously at my eyes. "It was all my fault, and I-I I miss you so much." I cried out, as I sniffled. She pulled me into a soft embrace, a few astray tears leaking down her pale cheeks.
"It wasn't your fault baby, oh dear god it was no where near your fault honey." She petted my hair softly as my body wracked with heavy streams of tears. "All this grief that you've held, nobody should ever have to hold this." She caressed my face, her eyes sad as she looked down upon me. "You've grown up so much from the little girl that I once knew."
"You must be so disappointed." I muttered, my face screwing up my cheeks hot with the streams of tears.
"No quite the opposite. I'm so proud of you. You learn't control, you protect the people who mean't so much to you. You were so brave, and strong." I licked the salty tears from my lip.
"I'm a monster." I whispered, as mom whipped the tears from my heated cheeks.
"Oh honey, your heart is pure. Sure you've done bad things, but you've also done great things. Stop focusing solely on the bad things, move on and be happy that's all I want for my baby girl." She whispered, smiling warmly.
"Oh and when you see your brother again, give him a good slap and then tell him that I approve of Rose." Mom kissed my cheek lightly, before her caressing hands left my face, her eyes warm as a bright light consumed her. I touched my cheek where her hands were once placed and smiled.

I wandered aimlessly in search of a certain lankly boy.
"Hey look who it is?" A taunting voice whispered before pulling me into a tight embrace. "It's Ms Crazy Pants."
"Kol." I chocked, turning around. "Klaus said you were on a trip!"
"A trip to the afterlife? Then he would be right." Kol said a small smirk playing at his lips. Yet his eyes held pain and helplessness.
"Who did it?" I chocked, my eyes pained as I scanned his face.
"It doesn't matter all that much, Cole's over there at the bar. Don't forget to say goodbye."
