Lyn Hall's POV - 26 / 06 / 2014 : Sheriff's Department
I radiated happiness, my eyes were light, no longer grey but more of a steel blue. My arms lay at my side, my body no longer tense but instead well relaxed. No bags lay beneath my eyes, my face was no longer sullen but instead well shaped. My body no longer caved in but instead radiated a healthy look.
I stood strongly, my clothes hugging my body nicely. Skinny jeans no longer loose. My jacket holding in the warmth that I desired. I ran my hand through my hair as Silver and Russ stood besides me protectively, their looks having changed dramatically. Silver was well trimmed, his hair pushed back neatly, his face cleanly cut and smooth to the touch. His muscles were more defined, shown well through his tight fitting black long sleeved top. His Alpha red eyes hidden behind tinted glasses. Russ was more disheveled in that cheeky fashion that he inherited. His hair was tousled messily upon his head, stubble gracing his prominent cheek bones and boyish grin. He to wore tinted glasses to hide his vampire red eyes.
My heels clicked against the metal flooring as we made our way towards Derek's loft. Russ gripping my hand in his as his thumb ran across my replenished skin. I smiled softly at him as the door swung open before us.
"Hey guys," I smiled cheerily, "Or just Derek." I locked eyes with Russ, silently asking him to leave. He kissed my cheek gently before leaving, Silver in tow, his shades dipping down to reveal his eyes briefly. Clear worry projecting though them. I ran my hand through my hair nervously, rubbing at my neck as I stepped through the threshold.
Derek furrowed his eyebrows in questioning, "You're happy, why are you happy." I licked my lips, suddenly feeling woozy, my eyebrows knitted together as I attempted to keep my eyes locked on Derek's.
"Um, uh-" I blinked, my eyes widening. "Silver? Horus? Can you guys come back?" Before I even finished my sentence they were at my side, well Horus was, Silver having ventured into my subconsciousness once more. I tried to steady myself by gripping Horus's skin, only to find that it burn't me. I yelped in surprise, before running. My limbs controlling themselves as I felt myself shift. The shift more painful than I remembered as my bones snapped, my body reforming into a larger and more dominating wolf. It only lasted so long before I shifted back to human form.
I sat down immediately unaware that I was now in the middle of the forest. "I'm getting sick of trying to talk to Derek and then transforming. Seriously stop." I muttered poking my stomach as if it was the cause of this.
I rubbed my face roughly as my hair blew in my face, my hair no longer black but a beautiful platinum grey, framing my slim face and matching my pale complexion. I smiled wistfully as I ran my thumb gently over my bottom lip. I slipped my phone out of my pocket, scrolling through my contacts, thumb resting over Derek's name.
"Hello?" Derek answered.
"Hey Derek, uh sorry about that." I muttered, a weak smile pulling at my lips as I tangled my hands in my hair.
"What do you want?"
"Oh, uh nothing." I muttered slightly hurt by his harsh words.
"Good." He replied before hanging up. I swallowed hard, my lip quivering beneath the firm grasp of my teeth. I stood, calling upon Russ to pick me up.

Russ dropped me off at Beacon Hills high school to my request, I was twenty years of age and still wanted to go to school, that's a surprise. I moved quickly through the corridors and out into the open field where a party was in bloom, a huge bonfire splayed in-between drunk teenagers. I grabbed a couple of drinks and downed them, my lips pursed in discontent.
I licked my lips, following my ill advised sense of direction which led me to Scott.
"Hey Scott?" I slurred, my eyes widening slightly.
"Are you drunk too?" he questioned, his voice slightly wavering.
"I shouldn't be." I mumbled, as Scott nodded.
"None of us should be. I think it's to do with the music." I nodded, as Scott stumbled away. I stumbled, towards the Dj desk, my limbs uncoordinated as they swung oddly at my sides. I fell my hands connecting with the turn table, the expensive equipment falling to the floor as uproars surrounded me. I raised my hands, as I stumbled further into the table knocking more of the equipment to the ground. Angered yells replacing the hypnotic music as I began to resume my non alcoholic state.
I raised my hands in surrender before turning an running in search of Scott. I found him surprisingly easily as a hunter stood over him and his pack, a lighter in hand.
"Oh dude, what did your mother teach you." I tutted shaking my finger before him as I swung, my fist connecting with his head knocking him to the ground as my foot pressed over his wind pipe. I swiped the lighter from his hands. "Don't play with fire." The open flame, lit his clothes on fire as he struggled under my firm grip his screams echoing loudly as a powerful surge erupted with in my body.
I licked my lips standing, as his cries died down. His body charred and unmoving, lay beneath me as Derek and Braeden rounded the corner. My chest heaved with the exert of energy, my unfit body unaccustomed to the fighting. I brushed my clothes off, averting my eyes. "U-uh uh." I stuttered, my eyes tearing up, as I abruptly started running. 'Why am I running?' I squeezed my eyes shut as my legs came to an abrupt stop. Failing as I slumped to the ground. I rested my back against the locker, as I quietly tapped my fingers, to weak to move.
Pounding footsteps reached my ears before the person emerged with in my eyes sight. Derek, shook his head as he slowed down to a walk. His hands grasping my waist as he hoisted me up. Unbalanced I fell into him, my eyelids drooping as my hands weakly wrapped around his torso to keep myself from falling. I think he thought I was hugging him because next thing I know he's lifted me higher, his arms wrapping around my lower back before pulling me into his chest.
"Derek, I like you." I blurted out, I felt his muscles stiffen beneath me and I quickly realised my mistake, I slowly untangled myself from his arms before averting my slightly teary eyes. I took a step backwards, my back hitting the locker's before I shuffled away. My footsteps uneven as I had developed an odd limp, but my mind kept wandering to unpleasant thoughts.
I rounded the corner, feeling disappointed, tired and above all unloved that is until I was slammed against the lockers.
