Chapter 20

    "I might as well do it right this time"

"What...." But her statement got interrupted when Neal suddenly crashed his lip into hers. He dropped her hands and placed his hand behind her head. Lyn though surprised had no option but to give into the kiss following Neal's led. Neal pulled her closer to him deepening the kiss a bit more. Lyn could feel his shirtless body close to her which made the shades of her cheeks a bit red. Neal broke the kiss first and looked at her while she stared back at him. She couldn't place the expression on his face whether it was just a smirk or
"How on earth did I get myself to do this"

She didn't know what to tell him, and he wasn't saying anything either. Out of embarrassment she  covered her lips and ran out of his room.

The next morning after Lyn had dressed  up for school, she took her school bag and went downstairs to the kitchen. When she got there she met Neal and she froze remembering what happened the previous night. He was already dressed for school but he hadn't buttoned his shirt so she could almost see his chest. He turned to face her and noticed her uneasiness

"Morning pizza" he smirked "Did you sleep well?"

Lyn gulped and nodded her head feeling very awkward around Neal and she wondered why he was acting so normal like nothing happened between

"Here eat some toast. I made them" he gave her a plate. She picked it up and took a bite out of it, then her face turned red she gagged forcing herself to swallow it.

"Why the hell does it taste this" she screamed throwing it back on the plate "You're the worst cook ever"

"Not like you're any better" he told her

Lyn rolled her eyes at him "You could have just ordered like you usually do"

"Who the hell orders toasted moron!" Then he picked up the toast and looked at it "It doesn't look that bad" he took a bite and chewed it well then he stared at Lyn taking another bite

"You're a fish Neal. Only fish like you eat such crap"

"What! Fish!" Neal yelled surprised that she called him a fish

"Yes fish... Why?"

"Pizza!" He called back

"Fish!"

"Pizza!"

"Fish!"

"Hey!" He screamed loudly scaring her a little and she retreated back

"Whatever! You can eat all the crappy toast you made. Actually it does taste like fish after all a fish made them" she had a little smirk on her face which annoyed Neal a little

"Hey pizza come here" he said but she ran

"Try and get me" she stuck out her tongue and ran out of the kitchen. She ran to the living but to her surprise she met Ian there and she stopped, Neal came running behind her and stopped too when he saw Ian but frowned immediately.

"What are you doing here?" Neal asked

"I came to take Lyn to school"

"She has a driver you know" Neal said back

"Well I'm substitute today" he smiled brightly pulling Lyn to his side. Lyn stared at both of them and the atmosphere didn't look so good. Ian had quite a smirk on his face which seemed to be annoying Neal big time.

"You can substitute all you want" then he moved closer to him and whispered in his ears

"You're really doing all sorts of things now. I told you before its not cool, it's disgusting" Neal looked and gave a cocky smile then he turned towards Lyn and ruffled her hair.

"Pizza I'm going to school. Make sure you eat"

"Let me get your school bag" she screamed after him

"It's in my car" he said and left then she looked up at Ian and gave him a warm smile

"What's up with you driving me to school today"

"Nothing really, I get bored driving myself every day"

Lyn nodded pouting a little "Why were you and Neal acting like that just noe. Looks like there was a great tension between both of you"

"Its nothing" Ian told her "Neal is quite weird sometimes"

Meanwhile when Neal walked to his car he was burning with fury but it wasn't because Ian had come to take Lyn school but because of the friction growing between himself and Ian. He had fought with Ian many times and for so many reasons but never because of a girl. It pained him more that they had to fight over a girl he liked and the fact that Ian liked the girl he liked. It was either he let one go, he either forgets about Lyn or severe his relationship with Ian but to him he didn't want either of them but it was better to let Lyn go or everyone was going to get hurt......
