"Hey" he stopped her stepping at her front

"Hey" she said back unconsciously then seeing that it was Ian Elmer she became wide eyed

"Did Neal send you to me?"
Ian looked confused for a while wondering she had asked then he remembered they had quite an issue

"Ah!" He recalled "Why would you think that? He didn't

"Really" she pushed her hair backwards

"Yea! I was just thinking if you could be partner for the essay project?"

Me?....why?"

"I'm not really sure why. Maybe just to know you better, that's what the essay is about anyways.

Lyn stared at him not knowing what to say and then she just nodded her head unconsciously

"OK then. I'll pick you up after school, we can do it over a nice meal" he said giving a pretty smile and walking into the class

Lyn followed after him going straight to her seat thinking of what Ian just told her. It didn't seem like doing an assignment together it seemed more like a date.

"Oh no!" She exclaimed within herself "No not Ian, he's the Playboy"

"Hey! What are you thinking about?" Toni screamed a little shaking Lyn of her thoughts

"You wanna be my project partner?" Toni asked dropping on a seat next to Lyn
That moment Lyn regretted why she didn't just wait for Toni to ask her rather than going on a date with Ian in the name of a literature project.

"Sorry" Lyn apologized "I already have one"

"That's not fair, who is it?"

"Ian" Lyn replied timidly

"What!" Toni shot a surprised look "Why him? Did he ask you or you asked him?"

"He was the one who asked but it seems more like a date to me"

"Then you shouldn't go at least not with Ian you've had enough with Neal already"

"You want to ho instead" Lyn smirk

"I don't want to. I have to go find a partner then" she stood up to leave then sat down back like she remembered something

"Your dad? Are you okay?"

"Pretty much...yea"

"Do you live alone after the divorce and everything"

"I don't live alone" Lyn said

"Who? Your relative?"

"It's not that either"

"Then.....?"

"You're not going to believe this but you can't say it to anyone"

Toni nodded "Say it already"

"Neal Basil"

"What!" Toni screamed nearly attracting the rest of the class then lowered her voice
"Really? How? When?"

"His dad adopted me. It's quite cool, my room is no joke. I have a personal driver it's not really bad just that I have to be seeing him everyday"

"You can say that, but you really can't tell anyone"
