Chapter 21

Midway into school that day Neal had gym class. It wasn't really one of the classes that he liked to attend but it was one of the two classes he had with Lyn and he was just going because he wanted to see her.

After he had changed to his gym clothes, he headed to the gym with a ball in his hand. When he arrived there he met Lyn, but she was talking to someone. She was talking to Ian.

Jealousy raided him that moment and he could feel rage and anger rising in his chest. She was the reason he came here in the first place but she was happily laughing and chatting away together. The more he looked at them the more he realized that they looked together and Lyn looked quite happy with Ian than when she was with him, the more he realized that he had to let her go.

Just then Neal threw the ball angrily at them in frustration. Though it was intended at Ian it hit Lyn instead and she fell to the floor.

Ian rushed towards her immediately "Are you okay?" He asked her with a lot of worry written over his face

"I'm....." She wanted to say but then she noticed that her nose was bleeding and it really hurt. She looked up in the direction the ball came from and she saw Neal standing. She didn't want to believe that Neal had thrown the ball intentionally at her. He had the look of shock and worry on his face as if he was asking her if she was okay with his eyes.

"I'm fine" she said to Ian

"No you're not fine. Your nose is bleeding"

Just then Toni ran to Lyn holding her hand "Your nose is bleeding. Are you okay?"

Lyn nodded still looking at Neal and wondering why he threw the ball at her

"Get up. I'll take you to the nurse" Toni helped her up and they walked out of the gym together.

Ian turned back and saw Neal. He knew Neal was the one that threw the ball but he couldn't really place why. He stormed angrily towards Neal and held him by his shirt.

"Why did you do it? Why did you throw the ball at her. I told you, you can do your crap to other girls but not Lyn"

"It was a mistake you bastard! Now get off me" Neal pushed him away

"You brazen fool" Ian threw a hard punch making Neal stagger back.

Neal smirked touching the spot Ian hit, then he faced Ian totally giving him his usual icy stare

"I'll take that hit because I did wrong but if you hit me one more time trust me you're died" hr pushed Ian and was walking away just as the teacher was coming in.

"Neal Basil" the teacher called stopping him "Class is not over yet"

"Its over for me" he said and stomped out of the gym.

He was angry with himself for hurting Lyn, he didn't mean it and he burned with fury over the fact that he couldn't bring himself to apologise to her, his pride wouldn't let him. He went to the nurse office and stood there but he couldn't bring himself to go in. He just stood there for a while and left.

This a short chapter. But I can't update much because of school.

But I'll try to update as soon as possible.
