Chapter 35

That night Lyn was in her room fiddling through her literature book when she suddenly got up and headed for Ian's room, since he had moved in with them. She knocked lightly on the door and went in without waiting for a reply. She met him at his desk writing something probably homework well whatever she didn't really care.

"What's up sis" Ian asked covering his note to face her while she sat on his bed

"Nothing" she shrugged

"Sure?"

"Mmmm" she nodded "How's Neal doing?" She asked a bit reluctant to speak

"Seriously? You came all the way here to ask me that. It would have been a lot more easier if you had just called and asked him that"

"Don't act stupid. The idiot has been avoiding me all week, so there's no way I could talk to him and...and I kinda miss him a lot" she buried her face in her palms

"Oh God!" Ian face palmed "Why don't you just kiss him when you see him tomorrow and stop whining to me. You guys are so difficult"

"Why get so grumpy?"

"Nothing" Ian shrugged a bit annoyed "Just get ready for tomo...." He stopped realizing he was saying too much "Just look beautiful tomorrow"

"Whatever!" Lyn said eyeing him suspiciously before leaving the room

It was already 7:30 by the time Lyn woke up the next morning and she was quite surprised Ian didn't wake her earlier to get ready for school. She sat upright on her bed, she noticed a written on the table beside her she picked it up and opened it

"Hey lil sis, sorry I had to leave without you today. Don't worry you'll get privileges days ahead
P.S. don't forget to look beautiful today. Luv you!"

"What's wrong with this idiot?" She thought flinging the note aside. She jumped down from her bed and headed straight to the kitchen where her mom was preparing breakfast of fried eggs and bacons

"What's happening in school today?' Eleanor asked setting a plate of food in front of Lyn

"Why?" She asked back staring at the food not interested in what her mother was actually saying. She just wanted to hurry up because she had less that thirty minutes to get ready for school

"Ian seemed so excited about something happening in school today"

"Well I don't know" Lyn shrugged "The idiot left me"

"Don't worry about that sweetie, he told me personally take care of you and bring you to school by 10"

"What the heck!" She stared at her mother in awe "I have history first period and literature second"

"Its not like they're your favorite classes anyways. Come on we need to get ready" she pulled Lyn along with her

"I can't believe this is coming from my mother"

A few hours later Lyn was ready for school and she stared at her reflection in the mirror. She mentally reminded herself to commend her mum on how excellent she is at make up but this was just too much for school, no one does make up like this to school and she didn't even know what the heck was happening at school.

"Let's go or you'll be late" her mum came in behind her

"I'm already 2 hours late and besides don't you think this is just too much for school"
