Chapter 23

"Where's Neal?" Ian asked the moment she got into the car

"He's not answering. I guess he's in a bad mood I'll talk to him tomorrow"

"Are you okay" Ian asked and Lyn nodded facing the window.

The next morning which was a Friday. There was a camp till Saturday evening and it was quite compulsory for all students in Lyn's class.

Lyn got ready and packed all her things, she bought the rest things she needed instead of going back to Neal's house. Ian drove her to the camp and Toni joined them since she didn't have a driver and the President insisted an entourage went with Chuck.

Actually all students were supposed to be at school, then a school bus would take them to the camp. But most super rich students drove themselves there and that included the Triads and a few other students.

By the time Ian and the girls got there the students were already there including Neal. Lyn avoided his eyes not wanting to look at him but she mentally reminded herself that she was going to talk to him.

It was an outdoor camp and they were going to sleep in tents and the rest. After everything was sorted out, the girls had their tents some kilometres from where the boys were.

Meanwhile the three friends had a separate tent to themselves, they were still sorting their things out when Ian pulled Neal outside calmly, gently but still not friendly.

"What!?" Neal asked when they got outside. Just then Lyn was walking towards their tent to meet Neal but she stopped when she saw and Ian and Neal. It wasn't a friendly talk, the tension between was great and Ian had the look of plucking Neal's eyes out but Neal had a more worse look than that. She stood in a corner to actually listen to what they were talking about

"What?" Neal asked Ian when they got out

"You bastard" Ian said immediately

Neal chuckled a bit "if you brought me out here to call me names I'm not in the mood to play with you"

Just then Ian threw Neal a punch on his face and Lyn covered her mouth to prevent the gasp from escaping. Neal staggered back, a bit annoyed. He wanted to Ian back but he couldn't just do it because he knew the reason why Ian punched him and he knew deserved or even more.

"You wanna die?" Neal sent Ian a death glare

"As long as I've killed you first. Why did you send Lyn away. I told you, you can treat other girls like crap not Lyn"

"Ah!" Neal gave a sly smile but deeply hurt that Lyn went to Ian's house after all though that was what he wanted but it still hurt that it happened anyway.

"She went to you anyways. Aren't you happy?"

"You didn't answer my questions you jerk! Why did you send her away"

"Isn't it obvious or are you just stupid. I'm done with her. You like her don't you? So you can have her. She's stupid and childish. She eats and cries a lot. She's not the type of girl I can even play with so Ian you can add her to your list"

Lyn gasped in shock at what Neal said, she hadn't even noticed that the twig she was standing on gave way and she fell to the floor half screaming.

That moment Ian was about hit Neal again but stopped when he heard someone scream, Neal and Ian both in looked in the direction of the scream and they saw Lyn on the floor looking up at the them. Neal stared at her in surprise wondering if she had heard everything he said. But he wasn't going to act sorry not with Lyn there.

"Are you okay?" Ian asked running towards her and helping her up.

"I'm fine" she faked a smile standing up and dusting her clothes.

She looked up at Neal and he had his usual smirk on his face, she wanted to ask him if everything was true but she didn't know how to. She tried using her eyes to ask him but somehow he seemed to have understood because he had this look on his face which said

"You heard everything right? It's good then cuz its true" then he just left just like that without saying a word just a stupid smirk on his face.

"Stupid jerk!" Lyn muttered under her breath.
