Meanwhile Lyn laid on the bed, the nurse had told her to rest for a while so she lay there thinking of Neal. But what she really thought was why Neal threw the ball. Even if they weren't best of friends they weren't worst enemies and sometimes they seem so close to each other. Just then she noticed Chuck walk in and gave her a little smile.

"How are you feeling"

"Much better.... How come you're here?"

"I'm replacing Neal"

"Did he send you to me" she looked a bit curious

"Nope... That kid has more than enough pride"

"Ahh" Lyn nodded feeling a bit disappointed just then Neal spoke

"You don't have to mind things Neal does or says. He says and does a lot of things he doesn't really mean and because he has a lot of pride he's not good at saying things like sorry"

"I know that much about him" Lyn said quietly

"To me you're the only girl Neal cares this much about. He acts so differently towards you either being mean or nice" then he reached for the crossbar chain on her neck

"You mean a lot to Neal for him to give you this. Don't get angry for what he did earlier just talk to him" and with that he left the room

Lyn thought about what Chuck just told her, she knew Neal was like that anyways but was Chuck trying to tell her that Neal liked her

"No that's not possible" she pushed the thought away "You can't love someone you fight with every time"

Later after school, when she got home she met Neal at the door with a bag in his hands, but WAIT! it was her bag. She walked towards him giving him a confused look, then he handed her bag to her

"Leave" he just said

"What do you mean?" She stared at him confused

"Go.... Just leave. I'm tired of living with you"

She stared at him in disbelief. She didn't know if he was joking or being serious, but she knew Neal doesn't joke around like this.

"W-why?" She stuttered "I mean where do you expect me to go. I have nowhere except here.

"Go anywhere, I don't care. Just go" he was about to go but she held unto his hand.

"Neal please" she begged and Neal flinched at her plea. Almost the whole of him wanted to turn and hug her telling her never to leave him because she was the only one he had but that little part of him didn't want to, he didn't want to keep hurting her and he didn't want to lose his friends either. If Ian was going to make her happy it was better to send her to him. He looked back at her and saw her eyes with tears welling in them. He didn't want to moved by them so he gently pushed her hands away.

"Don't come back pizza. Just go" he turned finally and locked the door

"Neal open the door" Lyn cried hitting the door but Neal stood behind the door hearing her scream his name

"Pizza I'm sorry but I have to let you go. I couldn't bring myself to tell you I liked you" he said to himself he felt tear drops roll down his cheeks

"I like you, I really did fall you"

"Neal!" She screamed "Open the door you fish!" But there was no reply, soon she gave up and sat on the porch there.

"What's wrong with him all of a sudden?" She said to herself bringing out her phone, she scrolled through her contacts and found Toni's number she called immediately but there was no reply.

"Is she sleeping already" she put off the call then she tried Ian's number and he picked on second ring.

"Hey Ian" she greeted first

"Lyn?.... Hey" Ian said back a bit surprised "Anything?"

"Ummm!.... Can I spend the night at your house before our class camp tomorrow..... I'll explain when I get there"

"No I'll come pick you up" he cut the call, grabbing his car keys and running out of the house.

Lyn waited for a while before Ian arrived at Neal's house. She picked up her school bag and and rolled her other bag toward his car.
