{Chapter Eight} My body turned around as I slammed my door close and made my way down the beach, the sound of my car beeping as all the doors locked. The beach was packed with people as the music blasted loudly, the DJ mixing EDM music and the crowd went wild. Girls in bikinis dancing on the stage the DJ was with water splashing on them and the boys and friends cheering on them as they danced.

"You're finally here!" Francine jumped as she clapped her hands excitedly and pulled me into a hug. My eyes shifted around as I stared at the pack members my father put as our bodyguards. "Yeah, I had something to do first." I started out loudly but ended up whispering as my eyes caught side of the creep that I bumped into. "Hey Francine, do you know that guy." I asked her dissimulated and she widened her eyes with parted lips before frowning.

"Who?" She asked loudly as she turned around. "Oh that guy." She pointed at him and I yanked down her arm with a look. "Oops, sorry. Yeah I know him, he's in my class. Uh, what's his name again? Something with Axe in it." She shrugged off uncaringly with a giggle before she walked away from me and toward the girls from our pack that was also our friends, Sawyer, Natalie, Julianne and Katarina.

I huffed deeply and walked toward them, shoving my bag on one of the beds. "I'm going to swim." I grabbed my towel from my bag and started to walk down the beach, excusing myself as I made my way through the crowded beach with people jumping around to the beat of EDM

I dumped my things on the white sand and froze when I felt eyes on me and slowly but courteously looked to the side, my eyes catching sight of two of our guards. Yeoman and Nyman. They were looking around them for any danger and making sure that the sight was clear.

I raised the dress I was wearing up and removed it from my head before sliding it down my arms to take it off. I heard whistles behind me and turned around, looking up at Nyman. He was one of the hottest werewolves in our pack and also the most childish one at heart but not hotter than my mate who by the way was my bodyguard too, even though he doesn't have to. I mean, we're almost together 24/7.

Khalid scolded at Nyman and turned to look at me with a 'Too much' look on his face. I frowned my eyebrows and looked down at my bikini, what was wrong with it? I was wearing a low back one piece black swimwear with side boobs and a big amount of cleavage. It wasn't too much like oh God her cleavage is showing too much side boobs no but whatever. I don't care if Khalid finds it too much or not, I don't ask him to hide his body when females look at him like he's a piece of meat.

I flipped my hair back with a roll of an eye and walked down the beach with an extra sway. Maybe I should have a bit of fun. I got inside of the water and swam away, I pretended to be swimming and having a good time and smirked when I saw a wave.

That's my cue I guess. I took a big amount of air in my mouth and dove inside of the water, holding my breath. I pretended to be drowning and moved my hands around wildly, splashing around as I screamed. "Winter stop playing around and get out!"

I continued to pretend that I was drowning and stopped moving, my body floating on the water with my head stuck inside of the water. "Winter?" I suppressed the need to laugh and stayed immovable until I heard splash around. "Winter?!"

He grabbed my body and pulled me in his arms, my head moving back as if I was unconscious. "Oh my God I can't believe you felt for that trick." I burst out laughing and clung my stomach as I gasped uncontrollably, splashing him with water.

"I'm sorry baby but I had to." I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him closer. "Are you mad?" I pouted slightly and widened my golden eyes, flapping my long lashes. He groaned out at that and squeezed my butt cheeks hard with a smirk. "Nah, I'm good now." Men, I rolled my eyes at him and wrapped my legs around his hips.
