Summer's POV

{Chapter Thirty Nine} We stayed there in silence, no one uttered a word. Maybe it was for the best, saying something will only make things complicated and hard. I turned away from him and brought the sheets closer to my chest as I curled up my body in a fetal position. I felt him behind me as he approached me but decided against it, sighing loudly.

I heard him sit on the bed before he got up, putting his rip shorts on. When I thought he was going to say something he didn't. I heard a window open and I turned around to see him getting out of the window.

He looked at me for the last time and took the rest of his body out before he jumped from the window. The curtains blew as the cold air hung around the room. I gathered the sheets from my body and walked toward the window to close it.

I stared at the dark woods before turning around and headed toward the shower, letting the sheets fall down the ground as I made my way toward the bathroom, getting in to take a long shower.

Let's hope that tomorrow will be a better day.

I walked into my class, the boys as my guards again after what happened with Enrico. They easily mangled in as students to keep an eye on me. "Hello students, we have a new classmate. Her name is Angela Webster and she'll join us for now on." The girl smiled but just looking into her eyes, I saw the falsity behind it.

Something about her screams danger. I don't know what her intentions are but I knew that we had to keep an eye on her. The rest of the class, I found her eyes on me, just like she was looking at me I was looking at her the same way, my eyes boring holes into her eyes not backing down.

She gave me a smug look before she turned her attention to the teacher. When the bell rang, I made my way out of class and away from her. I headed toward my next class and was surprised to see her there, it was like she was in all of my classes on purpose.

Her presence made me feel unsettled, it made both my witch and wolf side restless. She was up to no good. "Listen up guys! The school is organizing a ball next Friday, everyone has to attend." The class groaned loudly. "Yes, so better pick up your best dress for next Friday."

The bell rang and I stood up from my chair, my hand going to my head when I felt dizzy all of sudden. My eyes immediately went to the new girl but she was looking at me confused. At least I know that this has nothing to do with her.

I shook my head with a blink as I composed myself and headed out of the class. I made my way toward the boys but someone beat me to it, and the one she was looking at was the reason why I was on alert, her eyes were on Yeoman, the look she gave him made me froze, my body stumbling back as I turned to press my back against the lockers, my hand cupping my mouth.

She was his mate but something felt off about her, now is a perfect excuse for her to say it's just jealousy. That was one thing I fell for her, sure. It was jealousy, but I know my intuition very well. She was no good.

I pushed away from the locker and gasped when I bumped into Mauricio, yep he was still creepy. "Are you okay?" He looked down at me confused and I shook my head at him as I flung myself at him. "It's okay." His hands awkwardly patted my back as I cried in his arms, sniffing loudly.

Someone cleared their throat behind us and I wiped my face quickly, blinking away. I turned around and with a deep sigh I smiled. The girl clutched at Yeoman's arm, his eyes not holding any emotions when I looked at him. "Hi, we're in the same class right? My name is Angela, nice to meet you."

She offered me her hand and I shifted my eyes down to stare at her hand then back up at her. "I wish I could say the same about you but I can't. I don't like you, and I don't plan on fake friend you because I'm not like that. I work with honesty and you clearly are here to cause trouble, so I'll be watching you very closely Angela Webster."

I stretched my lips into a disinterested smile as I walked past her, I wasn't going to pretend that I liked her because I don't and I was more than willingly to let her know that. "Hey, what's with that look?"

Nyman asked me when I walked past him, he was leaning on the locker talking to some pack members. "Oi, if only looks could kill...Hey Summer!" Nyman held my arm and brought me to an abrupt stop.

"Nothing okay, I just had a very bad day." I pushed at his forearm with my hand and yanked my arm from his grip. He stepped away with hands up in surrender mode and I sighed deeply, running my fingers through my hair.

"Oi, sorry. I was just asking." He raised his shoulders up and turned back to the pack members. I exhaled with a groan and walked away from them, heading toward my next class. If school was torture, try having someone you love with their significant other.

I just wished to be swallowed down a deep pit to never come out again. My nervous wrecked self spent most of the time in the girls bathroom, not to cry, not to lock myself, not to pee just to empty the continents of my stomach.

I was a mess, this situation was making me feel all over the place. I was hot, I was dizzy, I was hotheaded and most importantly I was queasy to the point of throwing out all my stomach continents.

When my nervous breakdown finally passed, I flushed the toilet and made my way out of the bathroom only to find Angela there. I composed myself and headed toward the sink to wash my hands. "I know your secret."

I'm so sorry, but I couldn't help but burst out in laughter at her. Secret? What secret could she possible know? "And what is that so called secret you know about me if I might know?" I shook my head with a smile on my lips as I slowly crossed my arms and cocked my hips to the side with raised eyebrows.

"You're pregnant." She accused with a smirk on her lips as she pointed at me and I burst out into fits of giggles. Her smirk fell and a frown made its way onto her face. "You're pregnant! Stop lying."

"Wow, okay." I stepped back at how crazy she sounded. "If you say so." I raised my shoulders uncaringly as I made my way past her but she grabbed my arm, a bit too hard if I might add. I turned to look at her with a sigh and yanked my arm away from her grip.

"Don't you try pinning this baby on my mate, because we both know you slept with both." She hissed at me before stomping out of the bathroom. Even though I was laughing, what she said hit me like a ton of bricks. If I was pregnant, I'd be screwed. Because one, I slept with Yeoman and my mate.

Yeah, things just got more complicated.

When lunch time came, I just wanted to die. Literally. Angela had her arms wrapped around him, a smile on her face as she looked up at him. I looked away from them and headed with the girls toward our table.

"Just ignore her, it's clearly that she's doing it on purpose. I still can't figure out how she knew you and Yeoman had something to even brought your mate into the mix. She smells trouble, I swear that she's here with a purpose." Sawyer said as she looked at them from behind my shoulder.

"Yeah, me too. She's so clingy, she's all over him and Yeoman doesn't even feel interested." Katarina said with a roll of an eye and my curiosity spiked up, I touched my face as I turned around dissimulated, our eyes meeting for a few moments.

She leaned his face toward her to kiss him on the lips, when it turned too hard to watch I stood up, my heart throbbing in my chest. I gripped at the table abruptly as I touched my chest, my fingers digging at my chest.

The ball of light dimmed on and off, my left arm felt numb, pain shoot through my heart down my arm. I parted my lips as I gasped, oh God, I was having a heart attack! Breathe Summer, in and out. I don't remember getting one of these in so long.

"Summer? Summer!" I felt hands on me as the table and all the other tables in the lunch room turned to look my way. My body slowly turned around, my eyes widen and my lips leaving breathless gasps.

Yeoman stood up, Angelina lingering her hands on him. He grasped at his chest too, feeling uneasy. He removed her hands from him and made his way toward me as I took a step toward him, the pain in my chest twisting and tugging hard.

The madly throbbed thrummed in my ears, my legs giving up just centimeters apart and I felt on my knees. He caught me in his arms as he cocooned my body closer to his. "Summer, Summer." He hissed out underneath his breath, the ball of light deeming in and out.

I held onto him tightly, the deemed light flickered before it stopped, then both of our hearts stop beating.
