Summer's POV

{Chapter Forty Eight} I leaned on the crib as I played with my sister's baby, Tatiana. It's surreal to me seeing her in front of me, it was as if I was seeing myself in the mirror except from the hair and eyes. I smiled at Tatiana and leaned my head on my arm as I stared at her. She was looking at me as if I was her mom, it was so cute.

"Hi baby, I'm not your mom though but I'm your aunty." I grinned down at her as she yanked my finger around as if it was a toy. "No, don't bite." I tried to pull my finger when she tried to stick it in her mouth but she had a strong grip on my finger.

I picked her up and removed my finger from her grip, picking up her bunny as I shook it around in her face. "Let's get out of here." I turned around and walked out of her nursery room, heading downstairs.

She chewed on the bunny's ear and drooled on it, her tiny hands in fists. I walked toward the living room and sat down on the carpet, lying her down on her playmate. She shook her hands wildly as the bunny made sounds.

Her lips were in a cute pout as she did that, drool over her chin. I tickled her belly as I wiped the drool from her chin with her blanket. I smiled at her and brushed her hair back as I stared at her, the smile on my face slowly dropping as I started to feel lightheaded.

I touched my temple as my head spun, I placed my hands on the ground to push myself up but caught myself when I almost sunk back down. I grabbed my head and moved my hands down, brushing my fingers through my hair.

"Are you okay?" My sister asked me as she placed the tray on the table next to the wall, heading toward me. "Come on, sit on the sofa." She led me on the sofa and helped me sit down, "You're burning."

Winter said as she walked toward Tatiana, picking her up. "I'll put her to sleep, don't move." I nodded my head at her and leaned my head down, my elbows on my knees as I ran my fingers through my hair.

My head ached madly, throbbing on and off. I breathed out deeply as I pushed myself up, accommodating myself as I leaned down on the sofa, closing my eyes. "Summer? Summer!" Someone shook me but I couldn't open my eyes, I wanted but I couldn't.

I tried to blink but my eyes wouldn't open, I wanted to speak but my mouth wouldn't open, I wanted to move but my body felt numb. It was as if I was paralyzed. "Shit! Khalid call the doctor, we need to take her to the hospital."

I heard them say but I couldn't react, I heard them move around me but I couldn't do anything. I was completely out of order. My body just couldn't function right. I felt someone pick me up from the sofa as they moved away with me, my arms moving around numb.

I heard door closing and opening, movements around me but I couldn't move an inch. Peoples voices spoke around me, I shook and moved as they dragged me around the hospital bed. I wanted to say something, I wanted to move but I was disabled.

"This is as far as you can go." Someone said before a door barged open, the bed moved as it was slowly brought to a stop. I felt movements around me, my eyes were open as the doctor looked at my pupils with a mini flashlight.

I couldn't blink, I couldn't move my eyes. I didn't know what was happening. They put me on the machine and injected me on my hand as they prepared the infuse system. "Her vitals are very low doctor, we're almost losing her."

What is happening? God why can't I move? Move dammit! I shouted angrily to myself but nada, I couldn't move an inch. "Keep an eye on her, I'll call the cardiologist." The doctor spoke before the door was opened as he got out.

The nurses moved around me, I could hear sounds of metal around me as I tried to lift my finger. The door opened and there was suddenly a silence around me. No, please don't go! Move please! Do something!
