Chapter 17

Hotch's Pov

   It had been a long night; and Morgan and I still hadn't gotten anything new from Kelly Watson's brother other than the fact that Kelly had initially moved to New York to pursue a Broadway career. "Morning Hotch." Reid was in a happy mood, but he hadn't been up until 3am interviewing Luke Henderson.

   "Hey Reid. Where is everyone? I called the team a half hour ago; they should be here by now." I was growing impatient. I was tired and in serious need of coffee; I certainly was not in the mood for everyone messing me about.

   "On their way; they'll be here in a minute." And as if on cue, the rest of the team entered the room, laughing and chatting about anything that came to mind. But I do have to acknowledge the fact that Prentiss and Lauren seemed to be getting along much better than they had the previous day.

   "Hey guys." JJ said, struggling to maintain a straight face. She poured herself a coffee and turned to Morgan. "You get anything from Luke last night?" What was I supposed to say; that we failed to gain any new information? I couldn't say that, could I?

   "She was a talented singer, and her dream was to be on Broadway." Thankfully, Morgan answered before I was forced to reveal the truth.

Derek's Pov

   Seriously; what was up with Hotch this morning. He was in a foul mood; no doubt due to a severe lack of sleep. "So, last night I had Garcia go through the list of green pick up owners from our three relevant states and compare it to staff and guests at the hotel at the same time our victims were there. She came up with only three results; David Andrews, Christopher Rimmer and Simon Lewis." I was glad to see that they had all calmed down and were now listening attentively.

   "So, where do they live? I assume the genius that is Penelope Garcia got that information too?" It was a rhetorical question that JJ directed at Hotch. Knowing Garcia, she had given Hotch all the information we needed.

   "Yes, she did and they all currently reside in New York. David Andrews is a maintenance worker at the hotel, who has a brother living in DC and a great aunt in Ohio. Christopher Rimmer lives in New York, but travels all over the US for work. Finally, Simon Lewis lived in Ohio until the age of 12 and then moved on to DC before settling in New York a year ago." All three of them were pretty good suspects at this point. JJ and I were sent to question David Andrews and Em and Lauren were going to interview Christopher Rimmer whilst Rossi and Reid paid a visit to Simon Lewis. Hotch made the decision to stay and talk to Luke Henderson some more; it couldn't hurt, right?
