They go up the stairs and walk down the hallway until they get to their room. They walk in and when Dean closes the door they both let a sigh as if they had been holding their breath all evening. Cas flops down on the bed and Dean sits down in the chair. "Damn that scared me" Cas says putting his hand over his eyes. "Yeah no kidding" Dean says. Cas turns on his side so he's facing Dean. "Did you like it though" he asks. "Like what?" says Dean as he takes his shoes off. "Your first kiss" Cas says with a smirk. "Oh uh um yeah" Dean stammers as his ears go red. Cas smiles and sits up. "So um do you want the bed tonight?" Dean asks as Cas stands up and starts walking over to Dean. "You're cute when you're flustered" Cas says before leaning down and pressing a kiss to Dean's lips. "You probably shouldn't do that here, we could get caught" Dean says when they break apart. "Oh come on" Cas says "we would know if they were gonna come in." "Still" Dean says feeling uneasy. "Whatever" Cas says and quickly kisses Dean before going and laying back down on the bed. "So do you want the bed?" Dean asks. "Nah, you have it" Cas says, spreading his arms out. "Okay" Dean says. "But if it gets cold I'm getting in with you" Cas says. "That's fair" Dean says tilting his head in agreement. "So what were you doing out there earlier?" Dean asks looking over at Cas "school had gotten out hours ago." "I was doing something" Cas says. "That's not much of an answer" Dean retorts. "Well that's what I was doing" Cas laughs. Dean smiles, Cas's laugh was very contagious. "What were you doing out there" Cas says, turning his head to face him. "I was doing homework in the library" Dean says. Cas nods and turns his head to look back at the ceiling. Cas looks back over at Dean and laughs. Dean looks up from his book he had gotten out. "What?" "I just noticed you still have that blanket on your shoulders" Cas laughs. Dean looks down and sure enough the blanket that Mrs Hutchins had given him earlier is still wrapped around his shoulders. "It's warm" he says while shrugging. "Can't argue with that" Cas laughs. Dean smiles and goes back to reading. Cas starts humming. They stay like that in a comfortable silence for a while until Dean checks the time. "Hey it's almost 11 do you think we should go to sleep?" Dean asks. "Huh?" says taking an earbud out . Twenty minutes or so he had taken out his phone and plugged in some headphones. "Do you think we should go to sleep?" Dean asks again. "School's not gonna be open tomorrow" Cas says. "Eh you never know, remember that one time" Dean counters. "Yeah I guess we could" Cas says sitting up. He stands up when Dean stands up. Dean walks over to the bed and pulls back the covers as Cas sits down in the chair. Dean slides into the bed and turns over onto his side after turning off the light. Things go quiet. Later that night Dean wakes up. He looks over at Cas when he flips the covers over. "Sorry to wake you it's just it's freezing out here" he says before getting into the queen sized bed. "Oh it's fine" Dean says before turning back over and falling back asleep. Dean wakes up again later that night. It's around 4 in the morning and he tries to go back to sleep but when he can't after a couple minutes he looks over at Cas. Cas is still awake. "Seriously you need to go to sleep" Dean says. "I'm tryin" Cas says. "Are you cold, I'm cold" Dean says. "Yeah" Cas says "does this house have no insulation." "I dunno but it doesn't seem like it does" Dean says. They move a little closer to each other to get warm and Dean quickly falls asleep. In the morning Dean is woken up by the door opening. "Oh look at you two all snuggled up like two little bugs in a rug" Mrs Hutchins says from the doorway. Dean looks over his shoulder and sees Cas almost right up next to him completely passed out. "Dude" Dean says shaking Cas awake. Cas opens his eyes almost immediately and inhales sharply when he sees Mrs Hutchins but then just turns over.
