I decided to finally visit my sister and talk to her. It has been a while since we actually had sister bonding time. Even when we were fighting, I always loved her. She is super smart but sometimes people take advantage of her because of her looks.

When we were younger, guys would date her just to for their own physical pleasure. She always fell for the wrong guys.

While I reach her door I notice the smell of cookies. Once I knock, I notice the door opens slowly.

Lily: "Hello!?"

No one answers. When I hear a loud noise in the kitchen, I grab an umbrella that was next to the door. I try to walk as quietly as I can but when I here footsteps, I lift the umbrella up in the air.

Julie: "Woahhh there, Mary Poppins!"

I let out a sigh of relief.

Lily: "Oh my God, thank God your safe!"

Julie: "Safe? Safe from what?"

Lily: "Nothing."

Julie: "Were you planning on killing me with that thing?" she says as she points to the umbrella.

Lily: "The door was unlocked, I said hello and no one answered and there was a loud noise; obviously I was going to protect myself with something. Sorry I didn't have time to get my AK-47!"

Julie: "Gr, someone's touchy!"

Lily: "Sorry."

Julie: "Can you help me take out the cookies out of the oven?"

Lily: "Yea sure."

I'm in the process of taking the glove from the table to take the tray out and I accidently grab the knife sitting on the glove extremely hard.

Lily: "Shit!"

I ripped open some skin on the palm of my wrist.

Julie: "Lily, it was an easy job!"

Lily: "Cooking isn't my thing, you know that."

Julie: "Lily, taking something out of the oven is not considered cooking and how did you even cut yourself? Knifes are not even involved!"

Lily: "Sorry, I have yet to master your skills."

She looks at my hand which is completely throbbing.

Julie: "Lily! You're bleeding!"

Lily: "I'm fine. Haha"

It actually hurts like crazy but I'm too stubborn to admit it.

Julie: "We have to take you to the Emergency room. You might need some stitches for that."

Lily: "Julie, I said I'm fine!"

Julie: "Get in the car, we are going!"

I don't want to argue with her. This is the longest talk we have had without arguing.

Lily: "Where are we going?"

Julie: "The only hospital I know around here, St. Josephs."

Shit, that's where Adrian works. I don't want him to see me like this."

Lily: "Are you sure?"

She glares at me but then looks back towards the road.

When we get there, the receptionist that greets us looks like she belongs in a Christmas movie; where the people are so jolly and never stop smiling. I guess that's what a place like this needs.

The second we get to the waiting room; I sit down on a long empty couch while Julie makes herself a cup of coffee. After waiting awhile for my sister to come back, a very handsome young man sits next to me; so close, he was sitting on my skirt.

Max: "Hey, I'm Max."

He was very polite.

Lily: "I'm Lily."

Max: "Nice to meet you Lily. So what brings you here to the hospital?"

I giggle a little and bring up my hand to show him my slight accident.

Max: "Woah, what did you do fight someone with a sword?"

Lily: "Ha-ha no, I'm just really clumsy that's all."

Max: "It doesn't look to good."

He leans over to grab my hand and the second I look up into his eyes, I notice someone standing in front of us.

Adrian: "Lily?"

I quickly pull my hand away, making the situation seem more suspicious than it really was.

Adrian: "Um, was I interrupting something?"

Max: "No man, I was just introducing myself to Lily here. I'm Max by the way" he says while stretching out his hand.

Adrian shakes it but he does not seem amused at all.

Lily: "Hey Adrian."

Adrian: "Lily, what happened? Why are you here?"

Lily: "Well.... I had a small accident."

Max: "Small? More like extremely deep!"

I turn around and give him the same glare Julie gave me in the car.

Max: "Sorry" he whispers

Adrian grabs my hand and pulls it toward him.

Adrian: "Lily! This isn't small! What were you thinking!?"

He was starting to scream and I've never seen this side of him.

Lily: "Its fine Adrian!"

Adrian: "No its not Lily, you could've gotten seriously hurt!"

Lily: "Exactly, could've and I don't recall doctors ever being allowed to scream at their patients like this!"

Adrian: "I'm sorry."

He kisses my other hand and looks into my eyes.

Adrian: "You aren't just a patient."

He smiles and I'm left thrown off from his little tantrum.

Adrian: "Lets go get you stitched up."

We start walking away when the boy, Max, screams out "Goodbye Lily!" I don't want to be rude so I smile back at him but when I look at Adrian, he is back to scowling at me.
