Adrian's friend Bret was having a charity event for children with mental disabilities. I thought it was beautiful for someone to use their money for something selfless. We don't see that a lot these days.

Since this was a formal event, I went with my long black dress that outlines all of my curves. This is the first big event that I can go arm in arm with Adrian. We have been to many events but they are usually small and someone's house. My makeup always looks exactly the same, the only times it's different is when I change either my eyeliner or my lipstick. But today I am going to try a little harder.

Once I feel like I have done my best to make myself at least a little more presentable, I start to walk downstairs to meet up with Adrian. Shit, stairs. I did not think this through, my heels are as high as the Empire State Building. Will I be able to walk down any stairs? We will have to see. I take my first steps down and I feel like I'm starting to get used to it. Spoke to soon.

The second I see Adrian's face, his gleamy eyes were full of love and I think I even see a bit of lust. With that sight, I step on my own dress and I don't know if I was exaggerating but I am pretty sure I saw a bright white light. When I finally catch my breathe, I realize I am cradled into Adrian's arms.

Lily: "I think I am literally falling for you."

I chuckle against him.

Adrian: "And I think I just became your hero."

He says and then winks while still carrying me down the rest of the stairs. Then once we descend, he swiftly places me down on the floor. I was about to start walking forward when he grabs my hand and spins me in a circle.

Adrian: "Just let me look at you."

I smile and do as I was asked. I even do a little twirl for him.

Adrian: "Are you sure you want to go? I think I have plenty of ideas of what to do with you and that dress."

Then he slowly walks up to me and wraps his arms around my stomach from behind. Then he slowly whispers in my ear "One of them being a way for me to take it off of you."

My knees start give out on me and if it weren't for his arms wrapped around me, I think I would of melted into a puddle.

Lily: "Even though it's taking every fiber in my body to say no to you right now, you promised your friend we would go."

Adrian: "Fine, but I'm taking you to bed as soon as we walk in through that door."

I laugh and start to head to the car. The event was actually really close to Adrian's apartment, so we arrived in about ten minutes. I make it my mission to get out of the car as gracefully as possible and with Adrian's help I think I succeeded.

As soon as we walk into the event, we are greeted by a mob of people at the entrance. After introducing ourselves for a good five minutes, I see a man start to walk towards. I assume it's Bret, Adrian's friend. He is probably around 5'8, and he has a completely American feel.

Bret: "Adrian, thank you for coming." He turns to look at me and says "and you must be the beautiful Lily. Wow, Adrian is a very lucky man."

Once he walks away, I can't help but think that he is very sweet and he seems to really care for Adrian.

Adrian: "I am going to get us some drinks. Would you like something?"

Lily: "Yes please."

He walks away and I start to walk around admiring the scenery of the place. It was surreal. There were flowers everywhere and candles hanging off from the ceiling. When I finally come back to reality, I am completely frozen. From across the hall, the man who I have been completely afraid of for almost four years was standing right there, in the flesh.

When I finally get the strength to get my legs to work, I start to walk through the hallway and towards him. There were a lot of people so I tried to get through as fast as possible, apologizing to everyone on my way through. When I finally make it to the end of the hallway, he's gone. Was I just imagining him? He couldn't possibly have gotten in here. There were security guards all over the entrance and it was invitation only. I think I'm just paranoid.

As soon as I start to relax, a strong hand wraps around my stomach. I jump and squeal until I realize it's Adrian.

Adrian: "Lily, are you okay? You are acting a little jump and you look like you have seen a ghost."

Maybe that's it. He couldn't have possibly been here. It was nothing.

Lily: "I'm okay just a little lightheaded but it's beautiful here. Thank you for bringing me."

Adrian: "Thank you for coming."

Throughout the entire night Adrian kept checking up on me, asking me if I was alright. I kept saying yes but he wasn't buying it.
