Fuck stop signs, fuck traffic lights, fuck every obstacle that is stopping me from getting to her. She needs me and I need to find her. What if he hurts her? What if he already did? I can't help but scream, "Fuck!"

While I'm speeding my way through the streets, like Vin Diesel and Paul Walker, my phone starts to ring. I don't have time for this shit right now, but maybe it's her. When I look at my phone, I frown when I realize it isn't. I can't talk to Bret right now. I have way more important things on my mind. I hang up the call but every time I reject the call, he calls me right back. He called around 6 times, so I answer the phone to tell him that it's not the time.

Adrian: "Bret, I can't talk right now."

Bret: "Goddammit, Adrian wait!!! You have to listen to me. It's about Lily."

What the flying fuck would he know about Lily?

Adrian: "What about her?"

Bret: "I know where she is."

I don't think I heard him correctly. Did he just say he knew where she was?

Adrian: "How the fuck do you know?

Is he in on this? Why would he? He has been one of my closest friends, since I got here.

Bret: "I'm sorry, I meant to tell you. I didn't know he was going to go after her."

Anger starting to boil through my veins.

Adrian: "What the hell are you talking about Bret?"

There was a small silence. I hear him sigh and he says "Cole's my brother."

Adrian: "He's your what?"

Bret: "You heard me! But instead of yelling at me right now, you need to find Lily. She's in a lot danger."

Adrian: "Where is she Bret? Why didn't you tell me this?"

Bret: "I don't know. He always talked about a girl named Lily, and how she ruined his life. I was scared as fuck for her. So I did my research and I found out she was here, I made it my mission to make sure she never got anywhere near that son of a bitch. I didn't know you were with her until that day at the bar when you said her full name. I know what he is capable of. You might think I'm a complete stalker but I never had any bad intentions. The first day she arrived, I had realized that she planned to walk around Cali by herself and find her way home. So, I hired a driver to come pick her up and take her home. I had to make it look like her grandfather assigned it all because she wouldn't have gotten into the car. My brother has not been stable and one of my guards told me that he snuck into my charity event. I knew he was out of prison but I didn't think he would come here to Cali. I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I was scared that if I did you guys would accuse me of working with him or something else could've gone wrong, if you knew."

I sit there in my car, completely and utterly frozen. I have no idea what to say or even think. Lily has been okay so far; Bret hasn't hurt her in any way. Maybe he is telling the truth. Wait, I remember the driver. I had a strange feeling about him and he kept glaring at me. He must of thought I was going to hurt her or take her. Fuck, Lily!

Adrian: "Bret, where did Cole take take her?"

Bret: "If I know my brother, he went back to our completely abandoned childhood home. I say completely abandoned because it's secluded. It has been, ever since a month after our brother died. It brings back memories for him. Memories that make him stronger, which is not a good thing."

I can't listen to any of this anymore. I need to get to her. He gives me the address and I head straight there.

Lily, please be okay.
