This has been the longest day of my life. I can't wait to get home and engulf myself into the woman I love. As if by coincidence, my phones starts to ring. It's Lily. Is she okay?

Adrian: "Lily? Are you okay?"

All I could hear is someone crying through the line.

Skylar: "Adrian!" She sobs, as if out of breath.

My heart begins to pound out of my chest.

Adrian: "Skylar, what's wrong? Where's Lily? What happened?"

The call starts to get to loud and then someone else is on the line.

Jesse: "Adrian, it's Jesse. We are at the mall and we can't find Lily. Her phone was on the floor and the cashier said he last saw her at the entrance intently washing the TV. We have looked everywhere. So, we went to the cops and one of them described her perfectly. She said the guy she was with had blonde hair and looked as if he was in a hurry to go somewhere. Adrian, it's Cole. He took Lily."

I was completely frozen. My heart has just been ripped out of my chest. I knew I shouldn't have come to work today. I should've stayed home with her, she would've been safe. She must be out of her mind terrified right now. I don't want to imagine what he's doing to her. I need to find her.

Jesse: "Hello, Adrian!"

Adrian: "Yeah, yea I'm here!"

Jesse: "The cops are not supposed to file a missing person request unless it's been 24 hours but since this cop saw them first hand he said he was going to try his best to find her."

I can tell he is scared. I hear a small sob through the phone.

Jesse: "I'm sorry Adrian. I was suppose to watch her, keep her safe. This is all my fault."

Adrian: "It's not your fault. Just try and figure out where she is. If you find out any information, call me back and let me know."

Jesse: "Okay, I will."

I hang up the phone and head towards the front desk.

Adrian: "Marcy, there's been an emergency. I need you to find a replacement for me immediately."

Marcy: "Yes sir, is everything okay?"

Adrian: "No, just please do as I say."

She nods and I can't help but run as fast as I can towards my car. When I'm in, I slam my fists onto the steering wheel. How can Ihave let this happen? But then I remembered that I placed a tracking device inher bag after hearing the story about Cole. A shiver grows up my spine at thethought of his name. I never thought I would ever have to use it, I just wantedto know she was safe at all times. Let's just hope she had that bag on her.
