Claire-
It happened. Lunic woke up. She was nervous to see her. It's been so long.
She entered the bedroom, and Lunic sat on a chair by the window. Her black hair was long and reached the floor. Her golden eyes look so sad.
"I'm sorry," Lunic spoke. She turns to them.
Everyone important was here, including Saito and Demitri. They are part of this, just like Sarah and Sapphire. Even Savannah was here. The only ones missing are Dante, Lilly, and Dale. Dale went to help Linda, his soulmate.
"What are you sorry for?" Xavier asked.
"Killing the woman you loved," she smiled.
Claire frowned. "What is she talking about?"
Xavier glared. "Zeus' daughter was supposed to be my wife. Zeus had given his approval."
Lunic sighed. "I was angry, you must understand. Zeus had my child murdered. Stabbed to death and her throat slit almost decapitated."
Claire shiver. She remembers that awful scene. Claire didn't want to remember it.
"And you went after the woman I loved," Xavier said. "You snatched her from my arms. What did you do to her body? To her soul?"
Lunic smiled. "I took them with me, her soul, my daughters, and three other souls. The three souls I stole, Zeus, was going to impregnate three women. He was creating more children. I kept them hidden. Zeus interrogated me for days. He told me I was going to spend the rest of my life locked up. And then your father told me Zeus changed his mind. And I was kicked out."
Xavier opened the balcony windows and stepped out. "My father is a despicable man. I have no doubt he was behind your daughter's death. Zeus didn't seem to care about you having a child with an elf. It's how nymphs are born."
Lunic looks down at her hands. "I bet your father is keeping Zeus sick."
Claire sat on the bed. "What happened after you fell?"
Lunic bit her bottom lip. "I wonder around the human world. I didn't go to hell; I don't know why. But I went in search of the elf, the father of my child. But he was already married. When I fell, years had passed already. I spoke to him and told him what happened. He was devastated. He and his wife allowed me to stay; I lived in his palace for a few years. I departed after his son started to see me as a woman."
Claire wanted to ask something, but she wasn't sure if Lunic knew. She will wait.
"I wonder around the earth," Lunic smiled. "I met wonderful people and ate delicious food. I watched the world change. I did all of that while carrying the souls. But then, a few years ago, I encountered an angel. They recognized me and chased me. I couldn't let them catch me with the souls. I released them and hoped for the best. The angel caught me and tried to drag me back to heaven. That's when I got hit by a lightning bolt, and my soul split from my body. My body fell into the church garden. It's how my body ended up there. And my soul ended up in Luna's body. It's when I lost my memories, and I thought I was her demon."
Luna huff. "But you had a demon form."
"My image of myself," Lunic said. "It's how I saw myself. A demon. Because I committed a great sin."
Claire fiddles with her hands. "Was I kidnapped?" She had to ask. Saito told her about the DNA test and how they suspected Claire got kidnapped.
Lunic grimace. "Yes," Lunic beckons Claire over. Claire knelt in front of her—Lunic cupped her chin. "Your mother was my friend; she fell in love with a wolf. But she was already married to Xavier's father. Yes, they are your brothers. But that man is not your father." Lunic smiled. "I helped your mother meet up with your father. And I was going to help her divorce her husband. But he found out, he found both of your mother and father. I didn't know until he came back with blood on his clothes and you. I don't know what he did. I am searching for your parents. But all I found was bloodshed."
