Saito-
Waking up with a massive headache was the worst feeling ever. Every little noise bothers Saito—even the ticking of the clock.
The zap was worth it. Saito biting wasn't just to rekindle the bond. It was to pass some energy to Aire. And it worked.
"She bit you back," Senna entered, holding a small bowl. "Drink this; it will help with the nausea." He did feel like throwing up. He forgot the bolts of electricity don't go well with wolves. It makes them go haywire. And they feel sick afterward. It's all because the wolves are nothing but balls of energy. They are spirits.
He touches his neck. Subconsciously, Claire must still remember. She's still there. It won't be that hard bringing her out.
He drank the green liquid and gagged. It's gross. Bitter.
"Drink it all," Senna said. "Our acting worked, you know. I saw recognition. She was jealous."
Saito grinned. "I know, thanks. And sorry, I know letting Luna go wasn't easy."
Senna sighed. "She's strong; I know she'll be fine. But Demitri is a little agitated. He still thinks it's a stupid plan. He's outside bashing a tree."
Saito listened. Demitri was grunting and yelling. He's gone mad. But Saito understands him.
"If you can, tell him to stop," Senna stood. "He's going to destroy the poor tree."
Saito drank the rest of the green liquid and shuddered. Gross. He stood and slipped his shirt on. His veins were visible. It'll take a while for him to heal from this.
He went outside and found Demitri punching a tree. His knuckles were bloody.
"Enough," Saito said. "Leave the poor tree alone."
"Don't tell me what to do," he snarled.
"You agree with this plan, too," Saito said. "Why are you so upset? She's not pregnant, is she?"
"What?" He stopped punching the tree. "No. She's still a virgin. I'm just worried. Luna can be so unpredictable. You know how she is; she could get into trouble."
Saito chuckled. "Oh, I know."
Senna came out and glared at Demitri. She looks at his hands. He tried to hide them. "Come on."
They follow Senna inside. She sat Demitri on the chair and grabbed the aid kit. Even though it was already healing, Senna still cleaned the blood off. She pressed the disinfecting wipe against the wound on purpose, and Demitiri winced.
"I deserve it," Demitri smiled. "Are you worried about Luna?"
"I am," Senna sighed. "I'm her mother; I'll always be worried. But I'll stay positive. It won't do Luna any good if I'm thinking negatively. Now behave."
An hour later, Demitri went wild again. This time, he ranted about pinching Claire's cheeks until they were red. Saito laughed; he should be annoyed about it. But he, too, will pinch her, but not her cheeks. He smirks to himself.
"I swear, Saito, if I get my hands," Demitri groaned. "Even if she's your soulmate, she'll have red cheeks for a week. She'll have to wrap a mask to cover red cheeks." He grinned. "As for Luna, I'll spank her for worrying me."
"Good luck with that," Saito smiled. "Luna will probably let you spank her." Why did he say that? He wrinkles his nose.
Demitiri laughed at his comment.
"Saito," Xavier came toward them. Sam and Erick follow behind. "Why didn't you tell me Skyler was joining Luna?"
Oh, right, Xavier didn't want Skyler to join. He wanted him far away from this battle.
