"You want me to take Sapphire? Are you insane?"

"Aire told me Claire seems to be haunted by Sapphire," Saito said. "It could be Sapphire could bring Claire back."

Taylor growled. "I disapprove; you are not putting my daughter in danger. I refuse!"

Sarah sighed. "I'll allow it, Taylor; the spirit wolf said she will be safe. Her wolf has awakened." Sarah held Sapphire. "Bloom, that's the wolf's name. Sapphire will be fine."

Xavier didn't expect this. This morning, he was going to leave alone. Not with a toddler. It's risky.

"Take her," Saito said.

Xavier looked at the kid. She was looking at him. It's like she knows he's going to be stuck with her. "Skyler isn't going to like this."

"He will have to endure it," Saito said.

Taylor growled. "I swear if something happens to my child, I'll pluck those pretty wings of yours."

He grabbed the kid and the diaper bag. She tugs on his hair. Groaning, he listens to Sarah's instructions. Never take the bracelet off.

After a few goodbyes, Savannah opens the portal. She will close it and will open it when he calls for it. He stepped through the portal, and Sapphire squealed. She tugs his hair and giggles. She was excited.

This portal opens at Zeus's throne. He looks around. The portal didn't hurt him, maybe because he held Sapphire.

"Xavier," Duke was below. "You brought the kid? Why? Why are you here? And your brothers?"

"You know why I'm here," Xavier spread his wings and dropped down. Sapphire squealed again. "Sam and Erick will stay where it's safe."

Duke smiled. "I knew you would come; you were always protective of Claire."

"Where is she?" He glared

"Claire!" Duke yelled. "Come here!"

Like an obedient dog, Claire stepped out from behind a curtain. She's different. Her wings are blacker than coal. Her hair looked black, but he could see hints of brown. And her eyes remain the same. 

What bothered him more was the silver around her belly. It's what Joseph describes.

"Claire, meet your older brother, Xavier," Duke said. "He has come home."

"He's the one that betrayed you?" Claire asked. Duke; he's filled her head with lies. Well, all those lies will unravel.

"The kid put her in a cage," Duke turned to Dom. Xavier will rip his head off.

"Don't even think about it," Xavier glared. "I'll be watching the kid. Fuck off, Dom, or I swear I'll cut your dick off and feed it to you on a golden platter!"

Dom backed off. He knows Xavier will do well on his threat.

"Skyler?" Xavier glared.

"Don't worry about Skyler," Duke smiled. "The boy is fine. His being obedient. Keep the kid in check; I don't want to see her crawling around." He and Dom left.

Xavier walked over to Claire and gripped her arm. "You and I have a long chat."

"Ouch, let go," Claire said.

"If I have to, I'll whip your memories back," he glared. "You're killing your wolf."

"My wolf?" She frowned. "I don't know what you're talking about."

He growled. "Your wolf is dying. Stop letting this bastard control you. He is not your father. Scott MaKing is your father."

He notices the sadness and teary eyes. Claire is in there. A little push, and she'll break free.
