Okay, so maybe most of us know that people were celebrating Thanksgiving yesterday. CUT Z TURKEH.
No? Okay...╥﹏╥Lol anywhale, We don't celebrate thanksgiving in Thailand but instead... We celebrate LOY KRATHONG
CCCCCCCXXXXXXXThai History Time (〜^∇^)〜
I personally find the story very interesting. We celebrate this during November...25th-26th, tbh different people go Loy the krathong on different days, depends if they're busy or not CX
Loy: Float
Krathong: Our Banana trunk filled with flowersWait... The krathong is the best part of all this. You get a trunk of a banana tree, cut it in many pieces. Take one piece and you can decorate it with banana leaves, different flowers and incense sticks (sticks that smell nice)
After decorating it, you go to a lake (I have one in front of my villa and tons of people from around the lake was there).
You can loy your Krathong in the lake. Why? Because this is what we do to thank the goddess of water~ ✌✌❤People in Thailand have been doing this for a really long time, nobody knows when we started this but ITS BEEN A LONG TIME (〜^∇^)〜
Yeah so that's about it CX
I know most of you guys might not finish reading this cuz history is kinda boring but I love it...So yeah, different countries have different cultures ;) Bye guys ✌✌✌
